Sheetz

Update 6: 12/28/2022 The store is starting to get its act together. Over the last month, supplies of things I purchase have been kept up. Since my last update, this store increased a star. Still a clean and neat store, with the best premium gas prices versus the ExxonMobils and BP.
Updage 5: 11/18/2022 I raised the rating to 3 stars, i am starting to see some marked improvement. Unfortunately a couple cashiers have obnoxious behaviora.
UPDATE 4 10/5/22: Dropped a star because of an issue with checkout. I was rung up 2x and I am not even sure why? Apparently he charged me for only 2 of my product instead of 4, but with everything else it added up to the total I had in my head. Then the cashier said he only gave charged me for 2, so voila I needed to pay another $5. I was confused and asked for the receipt and I went out to review the receipts. He ended up giving me the receipt for the $5 and the other receipt was for gas that totaled $0. I was livid but whatever, I should know better. I don't understand why I always have issues at this store. If you want a friendly cashier at a sheetz go on prince william Parkway, every time I go in and see him I always walk out feeling good. I will keep going to this sheetz because it's near the ice rink. I am hoping I can raise this review as the days go on.

UPDATE 3 9/29/22 at 19:34 Dropped to 2 stars.. Stopped in to pick up the product i get from the other stores and there was only 1 left. I determined that if the product is out, ask the clerk to check the stores behind counter. The cashier refused to look, and confidently stated that's all we have left. I asked again would you please check and he said no. Ok then, poor customer service -1 star.

UPDATE 3: 3 stars I raised the review 2 stars because they've been good about stocking my product here, or they'll search through the store of products behind the counter.

UPDATE 2: I despise when companies claim the "national supply shortage" is somehow some nebulous issue with no root cause.Back during the height of COVID, there were no supply shortages. The items I look for are out of stock and I can barely feed my family with inflation. I miss 2020.
UPDATE: I made the same mistake for the last time. I waited in a line of 2 people for 13 minutes only to find they are out of my product, AGAIN! I was so embarrased but made the people in line laugh when I said, "I waited that long to find out I wasted my time." Shame on me....dropping down to 1 star
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I shop at the local 5 Sheetz stores in the Lake Ridge and Dale City area. This one is by far the worst location for restocking tobacco products. I feel like I am rolling the dice when I stop at this store because I have to backtrack to get to the other locations. I have now made the mistake 3 times by assuming they'd restock their shelf, and leaving empty handed. My recommendation, make sure you stop at the Sheetz's off Hillendale, Caton-Hill, or Prince William Parkway if you don't want to holding a empty Sheetz bad while wearing a "Sucker" hat.

Great place to get gas and pick up drinks and snacks. Great place when you are traveling by car. It is an all-in-one stop on a road trip. As a mother who travels a lot with kids, I love that aspect. It is less time off the road and less wrangling kids back in the car.
