“I tore my meniscus (shock absorber) in my knee running after many years of an active lifestyle. My wife and I are new to the area and didn't have a referral for an orthopedic surgeon from our GP. My wife is a doctor and conducted a lot of research on the internet and liked the good reviews and the experience listed of Dr. Keith Albertson. His staff scheduled an appointment within a few days at their Haymarket location and they also have a Manassas location available on separate days. A former military surgeon, Dr. Albertson has over 20+ years of experience, a very professional gentleman, has a great bedside manner (per say), very informative, and all around a great guy in my opinion. He and his staff didn't rush us through the process, explaining all our options and my wife and I were very glad to have him as our surgeon working on my knee. As a very active middle-aged male, I wanted an experienced professional who was going to get it right the first time and get me quickly back into my active lifestyle. I had the initial consult with Dr. Albertson, MRI, follow-up appointment, insurance approval and surgery completed within 17-days! This fit well into my schedule as I have a future 10K race scheduled and hunting plans this season. First class facilities all around, the staff was wonderful and very organized; and Dr. Albertson has the confidence and grace you'd expect from an experienced physician your consulting with for a personally important surgical procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Albertson for anyone that is needing an orthopedic surgeon in the Northern Virginia area. My wife and I were very impressed and feel confident that we made the right choice in selecting him to work with us.
