(July 15, 2019, 5:43 pm)Outstanding views and very historic. There is plenty to do in the area, and Phil was just phenomenal. He keeps up-to-date about events going on in the area, and where all the best places to eat are. He is very knowledgeable about the area and so can is able to make suggestions on where to go and what to do if you keep him informed of your plans. He is very keen to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He also makes the very best breakfast!
Now keep in mind that this is not a modern hotel. The beds are comfortable, but not as plush as you would expect a modern bed. This is a HISTORIC B&B, and so it should be expected that the furnishings will match with that theme. This is coming from a city girl who likes her modern comforts, but doesn't mind "roughing it" either.
All in all, visit here with an open mind and an open heart. If you are going to arrive with an entitled mentality, just stay at home because this gem of a place is not for you. If you don't mind trading some of your modern comforts for a chance to experience a piece of history (and the best darnedest breakfast you will ever have!), then Caledonia Farm is the Bed & Breakfast for you. -

(May 12, 2019, 8:55 pm)The location is amazing, and the host is very accommodating; he goes to great lengths to make sure you have a great trip. He wants to know what your plans are so he can help you plan and make suggestions. He is very knowledgeable about the area, let him make you a dinner reservation bc his favorite restaurant is very good! We would love to come back, will book directly with him next time versus using one of the third party websites.

(May 29, 2017, 6:37 pm)Amazing hospitality from Phil, me and my husband went for our wedding anniversary and could not ask for more!!!! He is an amazing host and knows every single event in the area. Caledonia's is a beautiful, peaceful and historic place to visit.
