  Jimm and Kathy,
  We can’t thank you enough for our stay at Sharp Rock Vineyards! We have been stopping by for years for our favorite wines, the beautiful views and the wonderful hospitality. We always feel at home there.
  This fall, our daughter treated us to a night at their carriage house B&B for our 40th wedding anniversary. After a day of hiking on Skyline Drive, we were greeted at Sharp Rock Vineyard by Jimm to check in to the adorable cottage. The Carriage House had a coffee maker with a generous supply of coffee, teas, and snacks. Later, we enjoyed wine and conversation at the barn with Jimm and a complimentary bottle of our favorite wine to enjoy later on the cozy porch with a sunset view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We were invited to walk the property at our leisure where we saw the vineyards, river, beautiful scenery, and visited with their friendly pets, Doc, the dog, Ray, the cat, the horse and several chickens. After a comfortable and relaxing night at the carriage house, away from all the distractions of the city, we stopped in next door and Jimm and Kathy greeted us with homemade cinnamon bread and fresh fruit to take back to our cottage for breakfast. After saying goodbye, we were off again for another hike. We have already told our friends about our experience and highly recommend it. We will be back as often as we can. Thanks again Jimm and Kathy for everything and Happy Thanksgiving!

  Cute, quaint vineyard with excellent wine and views. We stopped by on our way back to Baltimore for a tasting and a glass. We left with six bottles! Highly recommend .

  Wonderful experience at Sharp Rock. Small, intimate with lovely tasting wines. We walked away with. 6 bottles. Highly recommend a stop by to taste! Get a glass or even a bottle while at it.

  Very quaint. Feels more scenic/ rural than other Virginia wineries (in a good way). Great escape from DC.
