I'm absolutely shocked at the negative comments, 2 in reference too benzo detox ( is absolutely one of the hardest to detox from) and the others referencing the cost of services provided.
I've detox myself 3 times prior, last time it took me a month to feel right.
After completing my acceralated detox with my implant. Absolutely 100% worth every dollar. Time is money detoxing yourself means weeks not working not to mention the pure hell you experience mentally. How much is your life worth, and then calculate how much you spent using over the last 3 months.
Any frustration should be aimed to your insurance company as this treatment should be available for anyone needed for treatment. I feel guilty, as I'm no different than the abuser, who could be a mother of 3 and got caught in a cycle due to the over prescribing when the epidemic began...she needed treatment before me.
I've researched meds prescribed, implant cost, healthworker labor cost. Theres a slim margin for profit being made here. ( rough estimate everything true on the internet lol)
The naxeltrone therapy afterwards is already covered in the cost along with a case manager that finds you a program.
Most outpatient rehabs have monetized this epidemic and want to cram suboxone down your throat, could careless about your treatment as most of the attendee are court mandated to participate, what a joke for someone serious about recovery.
Personally "The War on this epidemic" is being managed completely wrong. You regulate opiates prescribed, which lead to black market heroin exploitation. Users will do anything not to be sick! Fix the user! So theres no demand.
Dr. Coleman got this thing figured out.
A hidden gem! The medical professionals and staff are welcoming and attentive. Lauren is the most comprehensive, holistic care giver I have ever experienced. Whole human healthcare is provided here. It is reassuring to know that my family’s health is capable and loving hands.
The Coleman Institute saved my life! The staff is wonderful and truly cares about everything! I love how everyone made me and my family feel so comfortable and made the whole process so much easier on me. I will always be thankful for this place!!
I was a heroin addict for 6-7 years and was scared to get clean thinking id never Feel “normal” like the way I did before I started using. Even though I knew withdraw only lasts so long I felt it would never end so I never tried to get clean. I then found the Coleman Institute and they made sure I was taken care from start to finish and I can tell you that the wonderful staff are all amazing. The process is accelerated and you’ll feel it but it’s quicker and the implant WORKS. This is the first time I’ve been clean since becoming an addict and it feels like a new lease on life. I recommend that if you or anyone you know is in need of help that the Coleman Institute is the place to seek out. ❤️
I can say without a shadow of a doubt, Dr. Peter Coleman is the most ethical, admirable, kindhearted man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He's the kind of person that always does the right thing - even when nobody's looking. Not only is he the most respected opiate detox specialist in Richmond, I couldn't ask for better a better mentor and an even better dad. Love you Dad! Happy early father's day!
