I have been rafting several times before and this was by far the best rafting trip I have ever been on. All the guides are very friendly and knowledgeable, but if you have the option go with Delaney. He was extremely skilled navigating the river, while still being very personable and informative about the James river and Richmond's history you could see on the river. 11/10 service and guide. Would absolutely recommend to any, whether that's doing something to get out of the house or a weekend family adventure. Great service, great guide, great price!

This was one of the top highlights of our trip to Richmond. As a 1st timer, our guide Elli created an incredible experience for our group. The rapids ranged from 1-4, the scenery was beautiful, and the workout was pretty intense too. We 100% reccomended Riverside Outfitters to anyone looking for a unique white water rafting experience in Richmond.

Love, love, LOVED our guides! Thank you Charles and Tod/Ty! So patient and humorous. Kept our group safe and entertained. We appreciated their expertise. The bus ride was fun, too! We were able to get wet while in and out of the boat! If you're ever near Richmond, highly recommend for some fun with friends and family!

This is a trip that I HIGHLY recommend; this is an experience that your guide definitely makes or breaks. Courtney was an absolute legend for Bryanna and I, as well as the other couple that was with us! Totally recommend this trip, I'm Team Pipeline, Bry was team Hollywood (go and you'll understand), if you schedule this ride, 10/10 recommend the lunch package; food was great the Riverside Team was so catering. After all that, we had great times on the deck to recap the day. Pro photos were definitely a bonus.

Get out and enjoy the river along side people worth enjoying it with.

This was an absolutely fantastic experience with my family. The guides were super chill, but also made us feel like we were in good hands. My older parents (who have never done anything like this before) had a BLAST, which was very telling of how good this experience was. The professional photos taken from shore were a nice surprise and, while not cheap ($15 each), were totally worth buying since they captured how much fun we had. The cold beers and seltzers at the very end were also a nice touch. I would 100% do this again AND again.
