(September 5, 2018, 7:23 am)There is plenty of parking at this very popular hiking area. There are multiple lengths of trails and they are all very well. There is a very clean Porta John at the trail head as well. The only negative was that it is a very narrow dirt road for a mile and a half to the actual trail head. There is no parking until the trail head so you have to take the road. Only one car at a time which means you have to take turns pulling over in the designated areas which are limited to pass. It’s also 5 mph so don’t try to go in a hurry.

(May 17, 2018, 7:36 pm)Great place to kayak/canoe and fish. The boat ramp is built specifically for kayaks/canoes and makes it capable to actually launch yourself while sitting in the boat! I saw several types of birds to include bald eagles, osprey and a red hawk (I believe).
