    The living history done there this weekend was very awesome

    This a nice park grilks, limited parking Sandy beach, NO LIFEGUARDS. Currently this beach is not open due to flooding of the Rappahannock river. It is in Stafford County so best to call before venturing out. If you do go remember this is a tidal river to the bridge. The current is swift in and out. Even though it isn't a side river in town DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS IT. THE UNDER CURRENT AND ROCKS AND OTHER DEBRE FROM THE STORM IS HAZEROUS. Many people fish from shore.

    Neat little park. Very popular during the warmer weather; you will often see fishing, swimming and other water activities along the shore.

    Small soccer pitch. Good parking area that is handicap accessible.

    Part of the Fredericksburg Parks system.
