Excellent hours for working class.
My daughter has been a patient of Dr.Cohen's for over 4 years. He was and always has been an excellent Doctor for her. He's meticulous with her medical needs. He does what needs to be done before we know they need to be done. He's always attentive to her and makes sure he covers all the bases necessary to keep up with her treatment. She suffers with M.S and has had a very difficult time and he has provide her with impeccable healthcare. The office staff is always helpful and courteous and my daughter feels like she's important...all her medical needs regarding her illness are being met efficiently and professionally. I would recommend Dr.Cohen to anyone in need of a Good Neurologist... He's proof that there are still highly skilled and caring Physicians in this world.
I have seen Dr.Cohen since 1997. How do I put this without sounding weird. I think it may have been the second visit. I was with my husband speaking with Dr. Cohen and I am a women who has trust issues and doesn’t like to take medications. He immediately sensed that. He rolled his chair toward me and said, “I don’t know what kind of father or man you had in your life but you need to trust me”. You just don’t know what that meant to me. He is an intuitive and very knowledgeable Dr. He has helped me for the past 21 years. AND I have put him through the wringer believe me. He could have easily decided I needed more than a neurologist and stop seeing me. He’s blunt, gets to the point and takes care of business. What more could you want from a Dr.
Absolutely fabulous doctor, I can’t say enough good things about him or his practice! I had a very Trumatic sudden illness that resulted in the amputation of my right leg after a period of time in a coma and on life-support. When I first came to see Dr. Cohen I was in a very bad place emotionally to say the least, I was 100% convinced that something was not right with my Brain and with my loved ones trying to be supportive and not make me feel worse about myself than I already did from losing a limb they did everything they could to try and convince me that they didn’t notice anything different with me and didn’t think I had anything to worry about. Of course this made me more crazy because I am a fairly educated woman having two college degrees and a career in animal medicine prior to my illness where things were definitely instinctive and second nature to me before and I found myself completely unable to recall things that I knew in my heart that I would never have struggled before. I was never one to second-guess myself or to lack confidence, especially when it came to anything having to do with my line of work that I was so incredibly passionate about. That being said I found myself in a place where I didn’t recognize the person I was when I awoke from my coma, gone was the confident secure woman that was fiercely independent and always stood on my own 2 feet, no pun intended. Dr. Cohen was incredibly patient and honest with me from the beginning, he was very forthcoming that I likely suffered brain damage during The time that I was in a, as well as a period of time that my oxygen levels were low enough to be concerning on a neurological level. Of course the term brain damage is devastating but at the same time it meant that I wasn’t crazy and the symptoms I was experiencing were definitely real. After some extensive testing his initial thoughts were confirmed and the diagnosis of damage was made. This was a relief to me because it was finally a solid finding that I could come to terms with and try to find ways to improve the deficits not to mention help me with Disability.
I am beyond grateful to Dr. Cohen and his staff for everything they’ve done for me, I would and have recommended him to anyone without hesitation. It is incredibly infuriating to read any unfounded claims about any inappropriate behavior, I can only hope that such a vicious comment does not prevent a person in need from benefiting from such a great doctors expertise and experience. I am a mother who would fiercely protect my children and I can say with complete certainty that I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to send my daughter to see dr Cohen!
