  Brought my 1968 C10 and 1968 C20 back to life!!! My two 50 year old trucks were brought to Rector's on trailers and Ryan and his team went to work to find out why it was not running. The C10 had the entire fuel system was bad - rusted old fuel tank, the fuel sending unit was rusted and damaged, the carburetor was spitting fuel, so it needed an entire fuel system update. The team went above and beyond what I could have possibly expected. They replaced the single barrel carburetor (not easy to find), replaced the fuel tank and sending unit, and finally cleaned the points on the distributor and checked the spark plugs before firing him up. Once they did get it running, Rodney adjusted the carburetor to make the truck run smoothly.
  
  For the 1968 C20. The transmission was not shifting properly and the brakes were not working correctly, engine needed a tune up, and the bed and rocker panels were rusted badly. For the rocker panels, Rodney and DJ removed the existing rocker panels and put in the new rocker panels and it looked beautiful. Next, they went to work on the bed of the truck that had extensive holes in it. They patched the holes and then applied a Rhino Coat to the bed so it will last for the life of the truck. In addition, they took the seat out of the truck, sanded the cab floor and applied a rhino coat to the floor to prevent any future wear on it. Rodney was able to replace the master cylinder and the brake lines and bleed them. The team also replaced the transmission and put in a custom welded floor shifter. The guys also did some custom work to the seat framing. After that, they cleaned up the engine, gave it a nice color and a dress up kit, new spark plugs and cleaned up the wiring. It starts great now!! They replaced the two mufflers and the drive shaft as well. They even replaced the tires for me. I am sure that Ryan and his team will keep my little trucks running for another fifty years and I will definitely bring them my trucks in the future! Thank you to Ryan and the entire Rector's Repair and Welding team for the care and effort they put into my little trucks. Definitely not just welders - these guys are amazing mechanics as well!!!

  Ryan and his team have done phenomenal body work and repair to our 1957 Chevy Apache truck. Starting with a chassis, hood, and a few miscellaneous parts, Ryan and the Rectors team went to work on the Apache putting together patch panels, replacing the rockers on the cab, cab corners, sanding and prepping the hood. They put the new bed together, fenders and supports and made the truck a work of art!! However, in addition to Ryan's team of welders doing some amazing body work--- that is only half the story. His team includes some mechanics that are second to none. Rodney and Ryan went to work on everything under the hood - starting with an engine and transmission. He, Ryan and the team put all the pulleys, pumps and carburetor, motor mounts, brakes, distributor, wiring harness, dash components, a vintage air A/C system and the lighting. And, of course, they started with nothing and put in an entire fuel system from the tank to the sending unit, fuel pump, carburetor and got it all working perfectly. Then, the team went to work on the exhaust system putting in the mufflers. The first time Rodney turned the key, he said "he's ALIVE!!!!" and that was a great day!! Ryan and his team of welders and mechanics have shown they are great at any job from welding to restoring a 60 year old truck. Thank you Ryan, we will be back over and over to have you and the guys work on our trucks.

  Needed extensive work performed and the job turned out to be bigger than anticipated. They kept me informed on the status constantly and even worked a weekend to make up lost time. Very honest in handling the price. I feel lucky to have found them.

  Great people who know what they're doing, have reasonable prices, and will only do what needs to be done. Highly recommended. They replaced the engine in my F-150, and beat the dealer's quote by $1,000.
