  I just found my tenant through MilitaryByOwner, it's the only place I advertise because I want to focus on the military community. I put my ad up on July 20th and within a 3 week time period I had a ton of leads, 19 to be exact, but no takers. I'd had immediate success the past two times I rented my house through this website so I wondered why nobody was renting mine. Of the folks who came to look at the house 3 of the couples mentioned the wall paper, asking about removing it, etc. I asked myself, what is different about my house now than before? And the answer was, well, it's more dated now, the yard is overgrown, and nobody seems to like that wallpaper. So, I took my ad off the site and painted the house, got rid of the wall paper, and cleaned up the yard, then I put my ad back on the site. Within 5 days, I had 4 leads, and today, August 17th, I have a tenant. The site lived up to its reputation; I have a new tenant and a new paint job! :)
