I am writing this review on behalf of our daughter who just had breast reduction surgery performed by Dr. Bowen & his wonderful staff! I couldn’t be there with her & knew how nervous she was but not only could she not be happier with the results, she keeps talking about how patient & kind this doctor was with her. She has had such low self esteem over the years due to her unnaturally large chest but now she can stand tall (literally) & feels/looks amazing! To anyone thinking about getting this done we HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Dr. J Byers Bowen & I personally cannot thank him enough for taking care of our daughter & doing such an incredible job! Truly! :)

My mother n law had breast cancer and opted for the double mastectomy, which resulted in plastic surgery. We had the choice of multiple plastic surgeons and dr Bowen came highly recommended! Our first experience was wonderful. As a male it can be quite hard to understand and express sympathy over looks and “normalcy” that breast can make a woman feel... he did just that! He was so understanding and compassionate with my mother n law. I went to every appointment with her and our relationship grew, not just with him but the whole staff. You’re not just a number with him... you’re family! He remembers you and what’s been going on in your life... which is kind of unheard of now a days! We feel as if we are part of the family there! Now onto the surgery.... that part is AMAZING! I took care of my mother n law as she healed and I can honestly say he gave directions perfectly and made everything as easy as possible for cleaning and care. She got a tummy tuck as well as implants. Her breast look so real and her tummy scars.... well they aren’t really there at all. I have seen many “dead give away” tummy tucks before because of the belly button. The scar is not noticeable because he made sure to stitch it deep in the belly button so a scar wouldn’t show. We have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Bowen, his nurses, and his staff! We commute over 3 hours to see him and it is so worth the drive to have a great plastic surgeon!
