The peanuts are the best also! Grown in his own farms.

Great shop that we stopped in on the way to Smithfield. I tend to think of peanuts as sort of all the same, but the bag of in-shell roasted peanuts I picked up here changed my mind - not sure if it's the quality or the freshness, but they were fantastic!

I love buying their raw peanuts to cook at home, always a quality product. They also carry true country bacon, like we used to eat at grandmas in Appomattox Va. They also have great country hams.

This is one tiny bright spot in a really gross region. We bought some excellent boiled peanuts and the lady running the counter very kindly gave us directions to our next destination. The places around this are full of nasty, rude people, though. Stop here and nowhere else, trust me.
