  In 2000, when I first started working at Atlantic Shores, I knew it was one of the best decisions I've could have made. Twenty years later, my feelings are still the same. I have been give the best opportunity to be around amazing residents who have become more like family and to work with an exceptional group of employees who makes being a "Member of the Neighborhood" a great place to work.

  As soon as I pulled into Atlantic Shores I notice the beautiful landscape. It is such a beautiful campus you can tell the grounds crew takes pride in their work. This Senior Living Community feels like one big family between the residents and also the staff. There is a verity of events daily to keep you feeling young and busy. It's located just a few miles from the Virginia Beach oceanfront, less than an hour from Colonial Williamsburg and under two hours from the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It is definitely the best Senior Living Community on the East Coast!

  I am a first time employee of Atlantic shores. I love working here the people are so friendly. The Resident are amazing I have gotten to know so many wonderful people. Just to share and be a part of their lives is the best gift. The are new residents coming in all the time and I love how the staff all work together to make them feel welcome. How they seem to be at easy coming to a new place to call home if even just for a little while. It is definitely how I want to be treated!!! Great work being don’t at the SHORES

  My husband and I moved to Atlantic Shores five years ago, we have never regretted that decision. We loved our neighborhood and friends in Kempsville, but Atlantic Shores quickly became "home" and we have made many new friends. We have been able to take advantage of social and travel opportunities organized by Atlantic Shores Resident Services and no other retirement community could have more helpful, friendly employees than those here.

  Atlantic Shores has the most friendly staff and most wonderful residents! I am amazed at all of the activities, food and wonderful events that are available for the residents. I would love to have and encourage my family and friends become a part of this community.
