(November 28, 2020, 12:56 pm)I can not speak highly enough of Dr Bell! She was so kind to me when I brought Miss Kitty in last night. She not only gave my baby the best care she could but she gave ME the best care!! The front desk lady, (her name was Amy, I believe) worked with me to figure out what the best plan of action was. She helped me get it all sorted out so that Miss Kitty could get the abscess cleaned out and back home in just a few hours. If they had not acted as quickly as they did, I am afraid I would have lost her! I can not recommend Bay Beach any higher !! Thank you everyone for all that you did for Miss Kitty and I last night!

(October 22, 2020, 10:59 am)After being turned away from Banfield and being quoted 2800$ for hospitalization at BluePearl I’m so thankful for the staff at bay beach. The prices are much more reasonable and my dog got the best care I could ask for after being bitten by a copperhead snake. This is where all Virginia Beach residents should take their sick pets

(October 9, 2020, 11:30 am)Really don’t understand any of the negative reviews of this place. My dog Coco swallowed some plastic and was in a lot of pain so we took her to this vet this past Tuesday. We had the most wonderful experience and the doctor called us and had us informed of every step of the process and how much it would cost. Coco had every test done and fluid and shots within 2 hours of us arriving. She was noticeably better that day and back to normal the next day. We were VERY surprised at how reasonable the prices were here. For the emergency visit plus X-rays and fluids and 2 shots AND medicine we paid less than $500 for the whole thing. (This may be because Coco is only 15 pounds however and could fit in the entire X-ray machine, so prices obviously vary). The doctor was very friendly on the phone and the Vet tech said that coco was adorable and also seemed very gentle. The doctor also didn’t pressure us to do any procedure, just gave recommendations of what they thought was best and left the decisions up to us. Only complaint is we wish that they could be Coco’s regular vet also, due to how well they handled her, but I think they are emergency only.
