Econo Lodge Virginia Beach - On The Ocean

Two people we dealt with over the phone before arriving were a little rude. However, they put the note in for our accommodations as asked and were very kind from the moment we arrived. The mattresses looked brand new and the bedding was clean. I would recommend bringing your own towels and ice. The ice makers were gross but everything else was clean and comfortable.

clean and safe, a bit of a cement bunker but the location can't be beat and so much less expensive than the neighboring properties. They have a pool and bikes to borrow and the management seems on top of things plus parking on premises. They should put screen doors on the patios so you can sleep with door open on upper floors and not let the bugs in.

The staff are all very friendly. The rooms were very clean. I have worked in cleaning for over twenty years so I have a trained eye for dirt lol and it was still really clean. Yes the parking lot was small but they guarantee you a spot and they will help you if you are having trouble parking. The location was great the boardwalk and the ocean are right there. Restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Not fancy but more than adequate for a nice beach stay. Great beachfront location with their own parking lot. Ample shopping and restaurants within walking distance so we never moved our car our entire stay. Staff was very helpful and accomodating.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The staff was professional, polite and sort of felt like you were being welcomed into their home. The rooms have a few love bumps, but overall it was clean. Free bikes was a plus. I think you will enjoy your stay. We look forward to returning.
