  My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Inn for our anniversary in early June without any issues. The pool and restaurant were closed and there wasn’t daily housekeeping, due to COVID-19, but they still had the usual front desk services and were happy to provide anything you needed by request. The hotel was recently remodeled, so it’s nice and updated. It was very clean, the staff wore masks and did a great job to accommodate social distancing and make everyone feel safe! Despite being during a pandemic, it was still a nice stay, since it was right on the beach and the beach itself was open. All of their rooms have an ocean view, so it was very relaxing! It’s on the North part of the oceanfront and is just steps away from the King Neptune statue, we could see the statue from our balcony! Great location and quiet! This will definitely be our go-to hotel when we return to the Oceanfront in the future!

  Great place to stay on the beach. All of the benefits of Hilton and Hampton Inn with a pool and right on the beach. Near all of the VA Beach attractions.

  The new rooms are gorgeous, the food is excellent, but what really stood out was the outstanding customer service from the front desk clerk named Katie. My entire check in was a series of unfortunate events, but Katie never wavered with her friendliness and problem solving skills! She really turned what could have been very unpleasant into a very nice experience.

  Great hotel with an amazing view of the ocean. Friendly staff , and the rooms are spotless and newly renovated. I went down here with a large group for an event and we were not an easy group to work with. Ann, who we booked with, was very accommodating to our/my needs the whole weekend.

  Linda was amazing in the mornings. One of the happiest people I have ever met. She was shaking hands and kissing babies like she was running for political office. Kids loved her and parents smiled as soon as she walked up. Remembered the people that were there the day before and welcomed new guests with an amazing smile as well.
  
  I went to have breakfast before heading off to a meeting and I was not in the greatest mood. After seeing Linda interact with everyone at the tables it was contagious, my attitude changed. It was just good to see someone with a contagious attitude that was worth catching.
  Rodney at the front desk was super nice as well. Even called when my flight got delayed to make sure I was still coming in.
