As a 65-year-old retiree who recently relocated to Virginia Beach, finding the right chiropractic care was essential for me due to my 20-year history with chiropractic treatments. When I first walked into Alpine, I was greeted warmly, and even their dog Sophie showed me affection. This initial encounter set a positive tone for my experience at Alpine.
At Alpine, they provide a range of treatments, including traditional and conventional adjustments, which catered well to my specific needs. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable environment during my visits. The receptionists and nurses were extremely helpful and worked closely with me to find an insurance plan that best suited my needs, which was greatly appreciated.
In addition to adjustments, Alpine offers other services such as acupuncture and traction, which I took advantage of. This comprehensive approach to wellness allowed me to explore different avenues for healing and find the methods that worked best for me. I found these additional services to be beneficial and complementary to the chiropractic treatments.
One aspect I particularly enjoyed during my visits was the presence of a TV in the waiting area, which played informative content related to wellness. This not only kept me entertained but also enriched my knowledge about various aspects of health and well-being.

I chose Alpine Health Center for Dr. Whalen's emphasis on treating neck stiffness due to arthritis. He adjusts treatment according to your needs and only as long as is necessary to relieve your symptoms. I have continued to go for maintenance adjustments so I can remain pain-free. The office is small and the staff are personable, flexible, and friendly. The cost of treatment is reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Whalen.

I have had a wonderful experience at Alpine Health Center. The Chiropractor is just amazing, he has helped me regain my mobility and range of movement. With medical massage therapy and the chiropractic treatment, difference in my neck pain is life changing. The office staff is on point! Everything runs smoothly from appointments to billing. From the moment I called to set up a consult for my son, I knew I had chosen the right chiropractor. First impressions are everything and the woman that assisted me with setting up a consult was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and professional. When we arrived for his appointment everyone was extremely welcoming, it was so nice to see customer service still exists. My 15 year old son had sustained a concussion about 8 weeks prior to his consult with Alpine Health Center. He had been dealing with daily dizziness, headaches, and neck/upper back pain. Nothing seemed to relieve his symptoms. After his first visit with Dr. Whalen he reported complete resolution of his symptoms. We tried so many interventions, without improvement, prior to seeking a consult here, my only complaint is that I didn’t call them sooner. I couldn’t be more impressed with Dr. Whalen and the entire staff at Alpine Health Center! I highly recommend!

His laser treatments have me wondering which knee had surgery!?? They offer massage tables and in house massage therapist, Tens therapy, Acupuncture, Acupressure, and much more.
