“21 Hour Engineering Course HIGHLY Recommended! I walked in Starx Studios a little discouraged and hesitant of not knowing a thing or the mechanics that went behind mixing and engineering music, but I must say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It was one of the most fun and most resourceful experiences that I invested in. In the 21 hours of the course I was able to learn the processes and components needed to record a song, and to understand the hardware and the programs used to mix/engineer a song. It was all a hands on experience. I was pushed to play many roles, answer questions and think outside the box. I recorded my own vocals and mixed my own recording. I was able to ask all the questions I had and even break down a game plan for what’s up next for me. Neko is a very good teacher he’s patient, passionate and makes sure you understand and stay on schedule. He taught me shortcuts, gave me helpful tips and resources for various engineering tools. Now I can say I have a good and broad understanding of what it takes to be a Music Engineer. Starx Studios is a clean and professional work environment and convenient location. I recommend it for anyone that finds interest in music and simply creating. I look forward to see what other future courses Starx Studios has to offer.”

“Amazing school. From the front desk (Michelle is a wonderful person), to the teachers and assistants. My daughter has developed and grown so much since she started in this school. The teachers and assistants are the most lovely, patient people that will work with each child to make sure they are comfortable and learning at their pace. My daughter is the shy, clingy type, and it took less than 1 week for her to get comfortable at drop offs (at only 2 years old). This is, by far, the best school with the best professionals. Extremely clean and organized. Highly recommend it.”

“We went for an early weeknight dinner, two adults and two children. The menu is large and varied with items you wouldn't find in many other Mexican restaurants. Our bill was $70 for all of the following: one margarita, one large draft beer, 3 iced teas, a large combination dinner (El Grande Combination maybe?), the Amigos combination from the vegetarian menu, a kids meal with taco and burrito, a side if beans, and a side of rice, and a Kahlua parfait dessert. It was quite a lot of food for a very good price. We all LOVED our food. It was hot, delicious, and full of flavor. The service was very good. And the restaurant seemed to be clean and well-maintained, including the restrooms. It was so good we are seriously considering going back before we leave town.”
