  We had a wonderful time thanks to the very lovely Anne :-) even had breakfast with the local chief of police as his parents were visiting. hope the long distant friendship is going well Anne! The Bell house is full of history and very comfortable. the 4pm wine and cheese is a great initiative. to have the opportunity to learn about the other guests was a highlight.

  If I could give this 10 stars I would. We were there for a 3 day weekend. The inn is quaint and beautiful from the moment you enter, you are greeted by the proprietor, Ann who is kind and accommodating. The whole house is done in gorgeous antiques, and each room has it's own bathroom and has it's own name. We stayed in the Potomac Sunrise room looking out over the water. The room was lovely and decorated beautifully. Robes, slippers, and hair dryer were provided in the room. The place is immaculate. We then were treated to a delicious large hot breakfast in the morning. One morning we had eggs benedict , and a home made strawberry danish with fresh strawberries and strawberry sauce, wonderful! Ann also serves wine and cheese and small snacks at 5pm everyday as well. You will not go wrong if you stay at the Bell House.

  Anne is amazing! What a delight! She will make you feel light you've been friends forever. The house was charming along with the rooms. Excellent view of the Potomac.
