  The entire staff is a great team that is knowledgeable and very caring. They provide excellent care and training.

  I've been using this center for 9 years, since I moved here. Back then it was the only local center from here to Front Royal, but now there are a few more. I will continue using this center for many reasons:
  
  1) They know me here and treat me as an individual and a person they truly care about, not just a "patient". They get to know us and talk with us. Starting, or continuing, dialysis is a VERY traumatizing, life-changing event, and it is very hard for the patient to deal with the fact that kidney failure, for most, is something they will have to deal with for the rest of their life. But the caregivers here try and make it as easy a transition as possible. The entire team cares, from the Medical Director, Dr David Sisson and the other docs, to the nurse in charge, Donna Jean, to the social workers and dietician, to the many nurses and patient care technicians. We end up spending a lot of time with each other and get to know each other well. We chat about our lives and families and joke with each other to try and keep it light, but when we need comfort because we are going through a hard time, they are there.
  
  2) The caregivers at this center are very knowledgeable and skilled. The new employees go through a rigorous training program for many months before they start working on the patients so they really know what they're doing. And all employees learn the new protocols and processes with the continuing education programs Davita requires them to take.
  
  3) Davita headquarters is constantly keeping up to date on the newest studies and putting them into action in the centers to continue giving us, the patients, the best care possible, because kidney failure and dialysis, like all other medical fields, is continuing to learn and change every day.
  
  4) This center ALWAYS scores high on the Medicare rating system, sometimes even 5 stars, which is the highest, just like I'm giving them now. ????
