Had me test drive the vehicle to see if it changed the condition on the vehicle. Although I need extensive work on the transmission, steve gave me expert advice about how to keep things in order until I can make the necessary repairs. He had patience with me because I didn’t know exactly what kind of oil was needed for my truck and then educated me on how to add the oil into my truck. “Long story short, my husband and I picked up my car from the body shop only to end up at Autozone with a dead battery and a corroded terminal an hour and a half later. The amazing people (Cle and Tyler B.) at AutoZone stayed with us and attempted to get the old terminal off to put a new one on for close to an hour, even bringing us trash bags to cover up my windows that no longer could go up when it started to rain. When the general manager (Cle) realized my car required electrical work, she spent 20 minutes calling around to see if any shop was still open (at 8:00 on a Friday night) to help us. She ended up getting a hold of someone who showed up in 5 minutes and saved the day. Those wonderful people did not need to take all of that time (over 2 hours on a Friday night) to make sure that my husband and I were okay and that my car was fixed, but they did with smiles on their faces. I can’t say enough good things about AutoZone. If you need an auto parts store, head to AutoZone off 360 in Mechanicsville. There are still good people in the world.”
