“I have been seeing Dr. Rebecca Ryder for about 10 years now. She is very easy to talk to and is always interested in how I am doing. She does a through exam, reviews my past history, keeps abreast of my current health, encourages me to exercise and what types of exercise I should be doing. Every year she puts in a request for my annual mammogram, and reminds me of any procedures that are due like colonoscopies or bone density tests. The VHC Billing Department is a very different story. The lack of attention to and incompetency shown toward rectifying charges on some of my medical services this year has been exceedingly stressful and vastly decreased my confidence in the hospital, where I delivered my now 9 year old (and had a good experience) and have had numerous appointments and procedures since. I would like to speak with an evaluator or hospital leader about these issues with the Billing Dept.”
