“Tina Matthews: I was at a complete and total loss and I had absolutely given up on figuring out how to care for my mental health because I had been discharged from SEVERAL mental health professionals because they simply couldn’t figure out how to treat me, they threw in the towel and essentially said “I don’t know how to help you”. My husband came home from an appointment with Tina and said “she really knows her stuff and I mentioned you to her and she thinks she knows how to help you”. So I took a chance, and I scheduled an appointment. I was apprehensive and didn’t have much faith because at this point I was so tired of getting meds that didn’t work and had horrible side effects. Enter Tina. In one appointment I knew it was a right fit. She listened and she was up for the challenge. Without getting into too much detail, she managed to provide more help for me than ANY other provider in the 17 years that I’ve been struggling with my mental health in a span of less than 6 months. Under her care, I had my first day without any thoughts of harming myself and now I have had several months like that. She took the time and cared enough to stick with it, even though it took a lot of med moving and trial and error. My only regret is that I’m moving out of the area and won’t get to see her anymore. I’m giving 5 stars, but really she deserves 500 stars. If you can get an appointment with her, I HIGHLY recommend.”
