I have to say that this office is a hidden gem! Taylor Dental Care offers world class dental services right here, in the Poquoson region of Virginia. This privately owned family practice consists of father and son providers. I have been seen by both Dr. Donald Taylor (father) and Dr. Russell Taylor (son) and they have both made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Russell is a fellow of the Virginia Dental Association and Dr Donald is an honored life member of the American Dental Association. Their cheerful demeanor and professional expertise are unlike any dentist I’ve ever visited. I have high anxiety when it comes to dental offices & treatments. Every staff member that has helped me during various appts has been so kind, patient and understanding as well. They take their time with my dental care and have never made feel rushed. Another important thing for me is that when I call the office there is someone always kind and cheerful picking up the phone. I don’t have to dial an #800, and every front desk staff member has been able to help me with anything I’ve ever needed from rescheduling appts, to having questions about my bill, etc. I feel truly grateful to have this caliber of dental care right in my backyard. If you are looking for a dental office please give this office a try, I promise you won’t go anywhere else after your first appt. “Dr. Gillian performed a triple hernia as well as had to put in a mesh lining that went from my chest to above my groin. It's day 13 and I'm almost back to normal. I have GI issues especially with anesthesia so those persisted but the operation was a success and he was wonderful, informative, patient and kind. Highly recommend him.
