“I have always been afraid of dentists. I was one of those kids who ALWAYS had cavities. I never had a visit where all I needed was a cleaning. As soon as I was old enough I stopped going to the dentist. I would start up again with a new dentist every few years, have a horrible experience and not go back. I recently started going to Konikoff because my husband and I decided it was time to be good role models for our kids and also take better care of ourselves. I have never felt so comfortable at a dentist office as I have felt at Konikoff. I have had 2 visits so far, been through X-rays, cleanings, filling replacements (Novocain shots eek!) and have felt NO pain. They are super thorough and, despite being extremely busy, give you all the time you need to ask questions. They explain everything in detail, give you options for treatment, and make sure you are very comfortable before proceeding. I go to the new location in Edinburgh and I am so impressed, as is my husband. I would rate them 20 stars if it were an option.”

“My wife has been a patient of Dr.Tabor for 10+ years and she recommended that I go see him when I thought I had a basic chipped tooth. Turns out it was more significant than I thought. He said there were two options; one was a procedure that he could do but he advised against that option as it was expensive and did not make sense due to the location of the tooth. The other option / recommendation was to remove the tooth. Because of how badly the tooth was broken he recommended going to an oral surgeon. His gave me multiple referral options and once I made my choice his office called and set up the appointment and sent over my x-rays. I appreciated that he did not recommend an expensive procedure that would have helped his bottom line and instead recommended that another professional who specialized in this procedure do the work (the specialist was not associated with Dr. Tabor). Very pleasant staff as well.”

“We had our first visit the other day and it was a really good experience. The receptionist is a sweetheart and very helpful. There were a few other families filing in as they had just reopened after lunch. The place is beautiful and I was really impressed with the number of waiting areas and ample space in the building. Bonus: they have a video game room and small movie theater! We didn't wait too long to be called and the assistant was super sweet. My daughter (who usually freaks a little during certain procedures and is slow to warm up) sat so still for both the assistant and the dentist. They were really nice, down to earth people who interacted well with my girl. I should mention that the back area is pretty amazing as well! Also, this is the ONLY dentist (out of the FOUR we've seen) that sat me down with all of the x-rays and explained exactly what was going on with my child's teeth. He was very patient and listened to all my questions and concerns and I thanked them for that. The reasons i didn't give 5 stars: -You usually do not get a live person to pick up when calling. You will have to leave a voicemail and wait for a return call most likely. Fortunately, i didn't have to wait long for the call. - While examining my daughter's teeth, Dr. O was talking to me about her issues and kinda left her there with her mouth opened and wondering what to do because he didn't clearly instruct her when to close, so I had to (she's only 4 and needs direction). But after I said something he told her she only had to open when he said to and all was fine.”
