“I wanted to express my feelings on how wonderful Beach Counseling is doing in their response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the mental health provider shortage in Virginia and especially Virginia Beach area. In these most difficult and stressful of times, they have stood out as a leader in the community by going over and beyond the call to help and make themselves available. It is difficult for us all right now, patients and providers after a year and a half of dealing with this pandemic. I’m grateful to Beach Counseling. All my patients (and/or family members) who have been there all had positive things to say about their on going experience! Their providers have been a huge help to me as a pediatrician with my adolescent population and their families. We are all burnt out and I’m so grateful they continue to serve the community with quality, compassion, and excellent care. Keep up the good work! I appreciate you guys! We need more mental health providers like you helping our families in need, while we need families to understand the high demand for a limited amount of providers willing to go the extra mile to keep their doors open to new patients while trying to maintain their already over worked schedules. “Dr Asomugha performed my foot/ankle reconstructive surgery (aka the "All American") in January 2017 after almost a decade of constant pain. She was professional and straightforward during the initial consultation and performed a flawless surgery. Pain was minimal and my recovery time was cut in half despite the complicated surgery which I credit to Dr. A's surgical abilities. I am now at 100%, and more importantly, pain free. “I have been going to Dr Hu for at least 4 years. Every time I've been it's been like a miracle. Sinus infection, gone within hours. Knee pain, gone in 1 day. Back pain, gone within hours. Hip pain, gone within hours. I know I'm in good hands. They are so careful and attentive to my requests/needs. I have even brought my parents- both were super skeptical but absolutely loved it. His acupressure massages are the best I've had as well. It's direct and efficient. He can find my pain and the source of the issue without my need to explain myself. It's astonishing to me. Dr Hu really knows and understands how the body works. I am sooooo lucky to have found them. Getting a appointment there is the only thing that's hard- sometimes I have to wait longer than I want to. I guess giving a good review won't help them much but they, Maple Acupuncture deserves the recognition.”

“Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about five months ago at a different doctor, who sent me home without explaining anything - I literally had to google the medication to figure out what I had. I’ve been struggling with symptoms for years. I saw Dr. Wallace today and she was just fantastic. I was late to my appointment due to traffic but they still saw me, Dr. Wallace took the time to get to know me and go through each component of my blood work to explain what it meant/where in the range I fell, and she reassured me about some health anxieties without making me feel ridiculous at all. She was upfront, concise, honest, and compassionate. The office staff was also friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. The experience was efficient, reassuring, and easy. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. I would recommend Dr. Wallace to anyone struggling with thyroid or other hormone issues!”
