“I've previously used America's Best in Spartanburg SC and they didn't even do a eye exam except asking which letters on the wall I could read and used my glasses to get my prescription but I needed them so I got the two pairs for 70 and at the time it was all I could afford. This time I knew I had to have my prescription changed and wasn't thrilled about going to another America's Best for glasses but I just recently moved here and money is tight and haven't been able to get vision insurance yet so I called first to ask about the eye exam explaining my last experience, the lady I spoke with was very helpful and assured me that they would change my prescription as needed so I made an appointment. The doctor was great and had a genuine concern for the trouble I have seeing at night,with glare and my headaches and needing to have certain things added to my glasses and the extra eye test but wasn't pushy which I appreciated because I couldn't afford everything they offer but just knowing she was willing to do the extra test and suggest things to help was great because the last time the doctor didn't care. I picked out two great pairs of glasses on the 4th and picked up today, today was just as great and the very nice lady, I believe her name was Yvonne(not sure but I think something close to that) she was AWESOME. Took her time to make sure both pairs fit great,were straight and comfortable. She was professional and so nice plus I loved her glasses, wish I had picked a pair similar to hers. They looked beautiful on her. I will definitely go back when financially able to get everything needed for my glasses and the test needed for my eyes. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs glasses or contacts. They truly care about the customer even if all your spending is 70 dollars for everything. Thank you for helping me see again. It really shows that just because there may be 100 different locations in the US not everyone is horrible and makes you feel like you're a inconvenience to them.”

“My mother has lived at the Virginia Home for over 8 years now and I am so thankful for this facility! Before making the difficult decision to place her in a full scale nursing facility my father and I toured countless nursing homes, with her even having to be at one for a while before a spot opened up at The Virginia Home, and none of them come anywhere close to being as good. This home is unlike most where here the residents are younger and here for many more years of their lives and the staff and administration understand that and are constantly hosting events and activities for the residents so they are active and enjoy life the best they can. They even have a transportation department that will bring her to my house for special occasions or out to the mall if we want to go shopping! No place is perfect but anytime an issue has arisen (which has not been often) it was quickly and easily resolved. I am in my early 30's and I am SO thankful to The Virginia Home for the ability to live my life and know that my mother is being well taken care of!”
