“Several times now I’ve been trying to find a particular medicine and the only place that has it is Martin’s pharmacy at Sunnyside. I’m really grateful for that. And I’ll add that most of the time the Sunnyside store seems to have the best fruit selections, particularly papayas. One thing I wish - for all the Martins & food stores in general - now that you’re starting to carry more “exotic” foods, I wish you’d give us some recipes on how to prepare them. There are several fruits that come up from Central America that I have no idea what to do with.”

“I don't understand all the bad reviews here. I've been coming here for like 10 years. I've never had trouble contacting someone on the phone. I've never had them not call me back. I love my Dr, and he has helped me with sleeping issues tremendously. The lab is always on time, and always fast, and always communicative with me. I've never encountered the "rude" staff people talk of, everyone is always great with me. To boot, I have trouble with fainting around needles and this place accommodates me. They always are ready to lay me down and have extra people to make sure I don't hit the ground. Soda's on standby to help my sugars if they plummet from being feint... This is the one place where I'm not scared of passing out, because they handle it so well. I got x-rays done here to check for damage to my ribs from an accident, and I started passing out getting x-rays (same condition that makes me pass out around needles)... The guy on hand was awesome, and helped me get to a seat and then multiple staff showed up to help me regain my color and then finish the x-rays. I sat in the waiting area after till I regained my blood pleasure and got back to normal and people checked on me constantly. I always feel well taken care of here. In my experience, Selma has great staff. I've never had issues with appointments, even when 10 minutes late (almost always early though). However, for convenience sake, I almost never do walk ins here. I generally go to a nearby urgent care if I'm just sick. I use Selma for yearly physicals, Dr check ups, inquiries to more serious issues etc. I'm 35 with great health insurance and in generally decent health though.”
