Every dish is distinct and wonderfully prepared plus the portions are ridiculous. “Among the best! Several days in Winchester traveling and heard about this place. Not a big place or a strong looker from the street but the food is dynamite. Briscut was among the best we've had and great sauces were available to top it but it was perfect by itself. The Korean BBQ tacos were absolutely delicious and left me asking for more. I could have eaten just a bowl of the meat. For dessert we split a blueberry cobbler with ice cream and it was the perfect way to top off a splendid meal. While we were there numerous people came by for takeout and I hear they do great catering. Excellent find is recommend for anyone who LOVES REAL BBQ!”

“If you're looking to bowl, Northside has got you covered. With cheap prices at $3/game and even cheaper with specials such as $1/game on Tuesdays, there isn't any reason to spend some time here having fun with others. With deals like these, it only makes sense that the place is popular. Stopping by in the middle of the week in the evening, the parking lot was packed, yet my group still secured our own lane without worry. Having visited other bowling alleys, Northside offers a pretty standard experience. However, I will attest that we encountered no problems, such as pins getting stuck or technical issues.”

“No, the atmosphere isn't out of the ordinary but they are planning some remodeling for the interior space along with investing in exterior deck dinning. And let me say, I am originally from the East Coast where one can find the best food and I have to mention the 8oz burger with swiss cheese and sauteed onions is right up there with the best. Oh, and by the way Brian (the manager) will ask the chef to make special orders whenever possible.”

“I have visited the restaurant many times because I live in Richmond and it's a great location to meet my Charlottesville friends. The food is fabulous and has always been consistently good. I cannot however give it a 5 because the service is always extremely slow. I want to make a point though. The staff is always friendly but always seem flustered. It seems like they are always new. I'm guessing this happens because there is not enough traffic for the server to make a decent amount of tips. I wish this little gem of a restaurant would get more patrons because then maybe there wouldn't be such a staff turnover. The food is fabulous so go give them a try and don't be in such a hurry.
