“Was excited to try a new Italian spot especially for the N. Stafford area. Service was great, and it was a cozy atmosphere. The food and wine were lovely and I can't say enough about the dessert as well (including the edible orchid). We had the fried calamari which was yummy and I ordered the squid ink infused ravioli with crab meat. It was delicious and the sauce was lovely. Make sure you ask for the bread. We didn't get that until after our meal but it made dipping into leftover pasta sauce well worth it. If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend the chocolate cake and the cheesecake. Will definitely be back again.”

“Always a great meal at Espresso! They can get swamped and understaffed but seem in line with the usual, continental Portuguese speed. Don’t be an ugly American and expect fake Olive Garden service with mass produced food. This is a bar and restaurant, patronized by local Portuguese Americans. It’s the real deal. The owner is gracious and cares about his customers. My dad is a regular and he even calls in to make requests for the owner’s off-menu specials. Enjoy the atmosphere and food. Its like stepping out of NoVa basic. It’s one of our favorite family meet up places. Amazing plates of delicious food!”

“Lansdowne is a beautiful place! I rented the deluxe suite with a few friends for a mini escape, the room was spacious and gorgeous. Great location with lots of shopping and surrounding wineries. They put a rush on getting the room ready when we arrived really, we felt very well taken care of! The continental breakfast was delicious, best $13 I have ever spent!! Highly recommend!!”

The food is really good for that price, they're open late, they're always nice, and there's always a place to sit (it's big). It also has a bit of a classic 70/80s style with the rides out front and the video game/claw machine up front. Update: I've been coming here for years. I just happened to see some bad reviews. Everytime I've been here the place has been clean and the food has been good for a buffet. It's not a made to order five star restaurant.”
