I couldn’t imagine you finding a more relaxing environment to purchase a firearm. “As much as I love the original Kuba Kuba in the Fan, I prefer the larger dining room and plenty of parking at the Kuba Kuba Dos. Same great menu and friendly service. If this is your first visit, you should definitely try the Cuban Sandwich. It is the best in Richmond. I also really enjoyed the Empanadillas (with beef), it was delicious. I was disappointed with Braised Pork Shank. It was overpriced. The meat was very tender, but lacked flavor. My husband ordered the Roast Pork Omelet, it was filled with pork and the egg looked fluffy. He said the omelet would be perfect if they put some seasoning in the egg. If you are a coffee lover, I recommend a shot of Cortadito (espresso with a splash of steamed milk). Kuba Kuba has been an iconic restaurant in Richmond, you will have a wonderful time and delicious meal at either location.”

“I wanted to surprise my brother this year with a custom cake that he and anyone with nut allergies (myself included for most nuts) could enjoy equally, but I needed this cake to be 100% vegan as well. Luckily I found Rosa Bakes just in time on the HappyCow app, and her local bakery business stood out by being 100% vegan for the animals (which is truly a rarity in the NoVA area) The entire process from initially ordering the cake to picking it up was within the span of five days fortunately. Rosa did a spectacular job making this decadent vegan chocolate cake that was soy, gluten, and nut free! For an "everything-free" type of cake, the flavor was appropriately sweet with a deep, rich taste to every part of the custom cake. Nobody that tried the cake could even tell that this was an allergen/animal product-free cake (since it was so delicious and everybody could eat some). I look forward to trying more items like the donuts and cupcakes in the near future! 10/10 cake, business, and overall customer experience. Thank you again for your time Rosa!”

“Enjoyed a lovely Birthday lunch at West Coast Provisions Short Pump! Beautiful ambiance, great service, super lovely waitstaff and bartenders, and tasty food. Fried Oysters were amazing and I enjoyed sharing my friends’ Parmesan fries. Main dishes were tasty though a different twist than expected in some cases. My shrimp and grits weren’t the traditional version I was expecting but was nonetheless delicious. Will definitely go back and try more as this was a first time. Our waitress was incredible ! Loved the complimentary birthday glass of champagne she threw in!”

But, we settled pizza we were in the area. 1st time and was not disappointed. Having plant base pepperoni and meat umm (kissing my finger as if i am Italian lol) it taste just like meat. Had cauliflower heat pizza ( forgot the name) it's their specialty pizza and deeelicious!!. Now i have to get into the Calzone the crust flavorful and cheesy and last dessert salted Carmel apple pie. I was anticipating something small with an okay taste. Welp! I was i was wrong, this delicious treat was pre-sliced, apple fresh Carmel warm and the crust well. “This was a great stop we made on our way back from the Outer Banks. We were semi-lost and needed a kid-friendly place and stumbled upon this gem. The staff were very friendly and this turned out to be a popular spot for a mid-Saturday. The space offered many options for seating, which was primed for entertainment for all variety, and quaint all at once. Want to relax and listen to some jams? Check. Want to play games like Cornhole or Chess? Done. Want to gab with your friends on cushy seating with the faint hint of lavender tickling your senses? You got it 😉 There was live entertainment (shout out to #WhiskeyBizness) who were excellent! We stopped for a quick drink and a small bite and ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. This place is the only place that serves a White Norton wine and one of three on the East Coast that serves a White Merlot. I have been "off" wine for a while and found myself drinking only that during our visit (sans the quick sips I stile from my spouse's beers). Of what I tried, I enjoyed their beer and am a little disappointed it's not closer but I suspect I'll be back again.”

They have started offering LUNCH SPECIALS starting at $6.95 and for people in the area, we know that this price is a no brainer these days with food prices on the rise. Plus the serving wasn't bad at all. I got the chicken & broccoli fried rice with 2 wings and honestly it's good for 2 regular appetite people or 3 people on a *low* carb diet. Surprisingly the food didn't taste too horrible either. It was "good". Don't expect Desi Bethak taste because for what you pay, it's actually worth getting for lunch.
