“I went in the morning around 8AM. I did not have a long line to wait through (I can imagine during the day the line is longer in order to get food). It was my first time having Chick-fil-A for breakfast and I enjoyed it. I guess my biscuit was slightly dry, but it still tasted fine. Good friendly service. I was able to get my food immediately. I went to the one in the A-B terminal area (more in the B section technically). If I was passing through I would go again depending on the line. At that time in the morning, there was only so much open in the Washington airport. A nice taste of home before my extended time away.”

“Newly remodeled store in Alexandria is very pleasant. This remodel has been long awaited. As is usual for any Mom's Organic Market, the produce is first rate and always well displayed, fresh and best of all, very clean. This is my favorite place to shop for food. Just as a note, many items here are actually less expensive than at Whole Foods Markets.”

“My youngest loves it here and told me that we must go here so we had to give a try. The food was good and also the service. The atmosphere is nice and elegant. The music at the time was classic old school, made me feel comforting like being at home!”

“Food was good, the chef has a great sense of humor. BEWARE. You are sat at a table (for Habachi) with total strangers and then charged an automatic 18% gratitude for being in a group. The sushi 🍣 was delicious and the staff were very nice.”

“On this stormy day finishing up my long weekend I was craving a spicy all beef sub from Chicago. But alas I was no where near. So in my pursuit of this food through rain and crazy Virginia drivers, I found this place. When I walked in I was greeted by three workers: Javi, Hanna, and Anthony. These three were fantastic and hard workers. After asking each their favorite sub I chose Anthony to make it. He made me a #43 and to make it how he likes it, but spicy. Let me tell you it hit the craving I longed for. Such rich flavor, just spicy enough to keep you going back for more. Like when a woman bites your lips during a kiss. Absolutely wonderful. Their boss should be Absolutely proud of these three and are quality employees that go above and beyond.”

“Customer service was great. Didn't encounter any rudeness referenced in other reviews. I did take one star away because the biscuits are definitely over done here. Popeyes biscuits are light and buttery not dark brown and crunchy. Overall would go again, but maybe wait for fresh biscuits and tell them to take then out early.”

“Stopped in for a treat for my daughter after an appointment. The staff was friendly and helped us identify something allergy friendly. We both ordered a Heath Blizzard. Passed the upside down test.”

“Ordered the sushi and sashimi combo which was $37 on Doordash but it’s a very large portion with a ton of fish and could easily feed 2 people if you weren’t too hungry. Fish was very fresh and the side salad with a miso dressing was quite good as well.”

“The wings were delicious! The owner is very kind and cares about the food he makes and serves. He happily recommended a flavour of wings to me and said he could make it spicy. (Spicy lemon pepper) It was delicious. Will be back!”

“I’d been waiting for this location to open and they did not disappoint. Wings made to order, well seasoned, crispy, and sauce drizzled on everything…amazing. North Newport News needed this spot.”

“Always fast, friendly, and the food is so good!!! I love the shrimp habachi noodle. And the spicy kami salad has a great kick! If you aren't a seafood fan, check out their steak and chicken habachi combo!!!”

“Honestly it was one of the best subs I ever had... although I was very disappointed in the way I was treated at this firehouse subs, everyone there was kind, generous, and quite frankly had good manners. I didn't like that and the ordering process was short and quick... they got my order spot on and the sandwich was great. The service not so much, if I were to compare them to a animal I would say they are a very well behaved cheetah that loves people.”

“For a breakfast restaurant this place is really good. The waitress Susan was great with a good-hearted since of humor. Our meal was loaded hashbrown, MVP breakfast, BlueBerries bites, drink coffee and Arnaldo Palmer. Everything was cooked well and tasted good.”

“Really nice DoorDash experience - (1.) Each dish I ordered was delicious. (2.) Temperature was phenomenal. Cozy warm comfort food instead of that weirdly uncomfortable zone of "not technically cold but every bite makes you stop and wonder if you should get up and put it in the microwave." (3.) Portion sizes met or exceeded what I expected just from passively absorbing the material on the menu. No fine print no gotchas. Entree was a standard size, lo mein came in one of those red and white boxes, soup came in one of those big plastic take out canisters the size of a ball canning jar, appetizer specified in the title exactly how many you would get. (4.) My price per person entry is definitely one of the higher ones, but I did intentionally get a lot so I would have convenient leftovers for a few days.”

“Wow, greeted immediately upon entry! Food was fresh, place was clean. So nice to have great service! I'll bring more friends, next time.”

“Originally came to the shopping center for a different restaurant, but they were closed for maintenance so Kokorico it was! I'm glad the other restaurant was closed, because this place legit has the best tacos and rice I've had yet! They serve a variety of Latin American food, not just Colombian, and everything looks good. The tacos are totally overloaded with meat and the sauces that come with the tacos are 👌🏾. The lady who took my order was also really trying to encourage me to get rice, and since I forgot how to say French fries en Español, I went with the rice. GET THE RICE!!! Not sure what's in it or what it's seasoned with, but it's genuinely the best rice I've ever had.”

“If you have been sitting in your duck blind or tree stand waiting to pull the trigger on this restaurant, just send it! The vallet was a nice touch. It was efficient in getting guests dropped off and moving cars out of the entrance. Make sure to have a reservation, as the restaurant fills up quick. Both from guests who are looking to dine in and the overflow from Tarnished Truth Distillery. The artisan cocktails were exquisite. From the 'Old Fashioned' to the 'Manhattan' and then onto the dessert cocktail 'The White Lie'...all an excursion on their own. I had set the bar high for the food from all the previous reviews on here. And for the food to exceed my expectations in appearance and taste, my only complaint was my stomach wasn't big enough to finish it all. You have not lived until you have encompassed your meal with the 'Apple Bourbon Cream Cheesecake'. *see attached* Lastly, the service. Viliana was attentive, informative and polite. She was able to recommend drinks and answer any questions we had regarding our meal. Her service was top notch and on par for the resort.”

“The staff here is always incredibly sweet and attentive! It tends to be crowded, which is understandable considering this location is on a college campus. Super great atmosphere with chill music and lots of tables for studying and such :)”

“Got the 2 for Tues special ($14.99 was like 17 after tax) and scored two Grinders. I got mine with the hot peppers and thought it was excellent with the sub being toasted and all. Called ahead for easy pick up. Not sure if the pinball machine works but I’ll check it next time!”

“You get one chance to make a first impression. The manager Amber was outstanding in handling our situation; I can not complain. She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was satisfactory. The meal was excellent. I had the Crab cakes with roasted potatoes and fried brussels sprouts. Absolutely delicious!!”

“Soooo good. When you are craving a burger and fries you can't go wrong with Five Guys. The bacon cheeseburger was fantastic, juicey, meaty, cheesey, and perfectly cooked bacon. The fries were salty and just the right amount of crisp. The kids got hot dogs. For kids they are a little pricey but the taste is wonderful. My son who is a very picky eater, especially when it comes to his hot dogs, loved it. He said even the bun was very good too. Our one burger was a little light on a patty. But, the food was phenomenal.”

“This was the best chick-fil-A I've been to by far. The young lady there Kalia was very Nice and worked really hard. (I dont think she can read well) I bet her parents are extremely proud of her!”

“When they are busy service is sometimes slow but it's worth waiting for because the food is really good. It's a decent place to eat and prices aren't too bad. The employees are usually pretty helpful and they bring your food to the table.”

“You know barbecue place is going to be fantastic when they don't have to do advertising and the branding on the building simply just says BBQ, this place, hands down, has the best barbecue in The Short pump area and easily a top three for the greater Richmond area. Hush puppies for fantastic and way bigger than you thought. The same thing goes for the onion rings. The sandwiches were perfect and the house sauce works extremely well with their pork or the brisket and the nachos had plenty of toppings that you could cover every single chip. 10/10”

“Woke up early for breakfast stopped in for the buffet, I heard it was amazing. But I opted instead for takeout. I ordered for me Turkey bacon, over medium eggs ,toast potatoes. Absolutely delicious. My wife had an vegetable omelette with potatoes and wheat toast. She said it was amazing. The staff was very friendly, atmosphere was kind, the tables were apart for social distancing. The only thing I probably didn't like is that it took almost 30 minutes to receive my food. Other than that I was satisfied. Will eat here again in the morning but will try out the buffet. Oh and the prices were reasonable so that was also a plus.”

“I've been here 4 times so far and I am now a ferm customer. I get the curry chicken or jerk with rice & peas or sometimes yellow rice, the cabbage is nice, but I always get yams.. If your from Portsmouth and you like Jamaican food cooked right every time, and at a good price come here”

“Everything was excellent!! From the service to the mouthwatering food and specialty cocktail. Love that every weekend has a different theme and LOVE the location!! Very peaceful and in the middle of so much history. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing night with great food and great company.”

“In the cellar and through the mysterious door you enter into a great looking space with a lot of attention to detail. That detail stopped at the bar and the restrooms. The “craft cocktails” that were tried lacked flavor and I have never had a manhattan served in a martini glass. The bathrooms were really bad which surprised me based on the Google rating of a current 4.6. Also, the fact that the mens restroom door is backwards made me giggle- No one said- “fix it” .”
