“Seating: It took a while for us to be attended, and as well as other customers because there was nobody in the front desk. When we were getting seated, the lady offered us whether we wanted to sit inside or outside, we decided outside! The chairs were not metal ones, they were patio chairs so they felt much more comfortable. Food: The food was amazing, delicious and dynamite. It was definitely different from what I’ve tried in the past - ground beef for the Nachos Supreme. It was still good and tasteful. Although the guacamole was a bit pricey, it was lovely that we got to customize it! Great portions of food that we took plates of take out! Great prices in the food. Service: The lady and the rest of the employees were very nice and friendly. They were very helpful in bringing us napkins, to go boxes, additional straws at our request. For the FIRST time, I’ve had someone come to us and prepped the guacamole how we wanted it. That is pretty creative and something lovely I experienced here.”

“My Journey got us to this place because the Owner of this restaurant has other dinner that got closed and we came to his next restaurant few mins away. Weird!!! I ordered the lamb kebabs over rice which I'm not a big fan of rice eating outside at restaurants so it was very light which I was okay with and the lamb kebab was very well done as I asked to be well done and it was very juicy on the side of a non. Very Quick Meal. My cousin in the other hand had garlic naan with spinach which had potatoes or chicken inside it but you can whichever you want. Overall I think the very decent place to at least check it out with the locals eat. I'll go back if I'm in the area. Thank You 🙏✌️”

“Wonderful beyond expectations! My wife and I dined here on 10/8/2022. We expected good, then discovered wonderful. The first-impression ambience was so peaceful, and the inside temperature was comfortable (both in contrast to our lunch elsewhere). The staff was friendly without being intrusive. The menu had exactly what we wanted: prime rib for me and a seafood combo for her. The steak was perfection, and honestly the best I've had anywhere in many years. The seafood combo included flounder (which isn't great everywhere, but was outstanding here), succulent scallops, really big shrimp, and hearty crab cakes. Sides were yummy too: veggies and fries for us. Even the iced tea had a legitimate tea flavor without being too strong. Everything was so wonderful that we had to try the dessert. We were too full thanks to the generous meal portions, so we took home a slice of coconut cream pie. It did not disappoint. We are tourists who drive ~150 miles to Williamsburg one or twice each year. We've had good dining experiences at local restaurants here. Fireside Chophouse is the first one to make our "must do" list for return visits.”

“Did not know what to expect. Is frozen custard the same as soft serve? I mean, it was cold enough to keep it's form and not melt all over my hand before I finished it. But, it wasn't cold and solid (hard) as some of the soft serve ice cream can be. That made it a bit weird but it was still good. Plenty of options to choose from, simplified menu. Prices are dirt cheap for how much you get. Drive through was fast.”

They've been a consistently reliable source of quality Cantonese cuisine and I've always found the prices and portions to be more than fair. Their commitment to customer service is evident. When a minor mistake was made with one of our Sweet and Sour orders, they called and made us aware of it before we even noticed. The cash-only policy can be a bit inconvenient at times and may catch some off guard. It's also a major bummer that they had to ditch their lunch buffet. But, the REAL bummer is Covid-19, which they take very seriously, and have to commend them on that. My favorite dish is their Bourbon Chicken. It's glossy 'n' saucy and is rich with incredible flavor. Highly recommended! FORTUNE: "A long-term goal will soon be achieved."”
