“My son and I stopped by Dot's as I was visiting this particular part of Richmond and this was the closest restaurant to me. I had no idea Dot's was featured on the food network a while back but was pleasantly surprised. This locale has an interesting story and I encourage anyone visiting to read up on it before or while dining. Loved the older WW2 era photos! Our waitress (Danielle) was very pleasant. As this was my first time here, I asked her for a burger recommendation (they all sounded good). She suggested the Ultimate burger while my son got The Club. The food took about 15-20 minutes as there were several seated customers ahead of us. When the food arrived, the burger looked good but the fries (potato chunks) were overcooked. The burger (smash burger, yum,) was good, cooked as I asked. My son's club look really good to which commented after eating all of it that it had a good flavor. I mentioned to our waitress about the fries to which she apologized, stating she would notify the kitchen All in all, I feel like Dot's is a five-star location because of the history and TV publicity but I was disappointed by the fries (potato chunks). The kitchen allowing that food to be served to a customer was concerning. Considering how everything else was good, I will definitely return another and recommend to friends.”

“Really great Korean style fried chicken fast food joint. They have a variety of dressings and sauces to fit a number of flavor profiles. All are tasty, most are spicy. We also tried the calamari, and it was fantastic. The service was quick and polite. They also offer alcoholic drinks that sounded pretty cool, but we were not there for that this evening. Value for dollar was right on. We spent around $30 for two plates that filled us up, with some left over for the kids. If you like Korean food, fried chicken, or both, you have to try these guys!”

When I was in highschool I only ordered the chicken dishes which were always AMAZING. I took a leap and tried the pizza finally.... Just extremely basic, the 2 cheese pizza deal delivered. Not sure what pizza magic is happening in that kitchen but we love it! The pizza almost has a buttery flavor 😍 You can definitely tell the quality of ingredients. “I visited on a Friday around 5pm. The restaurant is a carry out only fast food style chicken place. I ordered chicken strips, macaroni and cheese, a slice of velvet cake, and a Dr. Pepper. The order was delivered quick. The strips were crispy and pretty good. The macaroni and cheese was average as was the cake. Total bill was just over $10. Overall, I was please. Be sure you are keeping in mind that this is a fast food style restaurant, so keep your expectations in that vein. I’d come here over many (probably most) fast food restaurants in the area for a chicken strip meal.”

They have a full bar and a jute box you can use too hence the music that hits you walking in. Not the same feel as Olive Garden for example this is laid back and super chill to bring your family or friends. Huge fan of the lobster ravioli now the sauce they make it in was phenomenal.
