“The food here is so good! If you like carrot cake, you need to get a piece to-go because if you're anything like us, you'll be too full to eat it there. The dill potato salad is also amazing. Their bread is perfectly toasted but still soft and not so thick that it takes away from what's inside the sandwich. We will definitely be back next time we are in Yorktown!”

Update 3/28/2022 : I went here the other day for a drink, was told they are short staffed and I've cream machine down. Then I went back today, ordered and employee gave us one wrong drink and a chocolate shake that looks like it's seen better days. Presentation of food went way down hill. Maybe because they are short staffed but still take some pride in your work! It might be awhile till I hit this location again.....”

“Party of 9 aye here 7/6/22. First time here, was recommended by a friend. Wasn’t badly busy for a 4th July weekend. We came here around 11:30/ noon. The food was delicious and well prepared. It’s a buffet style southern restaurant. The strawberry shortcake was amazing. You can’t go to plant city and not get strawberry’s. After all it’s the capitol of the world for them. Your party’s can’t be seated until all members have arrived. The staff was friendly and attentive. Never had empty glasses. The bathrooms were clean and not sticky. Somehow awkward with how the doors worked. Nothing degrading point value. Never had fried catfish before, this did not disappoint! Would have it again anytime from here. You pay at front, plenty if seating. Had toothpicks at counter. Everything runs smooth and takes germ precautions well with gloves, sanitizer, and spoons. The parking spaces can be a bit small and hard to find. Well worth circling the lot a few times. Hope to return soon.”

As soon as you take a seat your order is asked and the waiters and chef's take no time to get you your food and drinks, sort of expensive but it makes up in service and food. “It took us forever to go to this place because of what it looks like from the outside. I am hoping someone from management will read this, as my family said they will not be going back because of some of the issues. I absolutely loved the food and service. My DD ordered the country fried steak breakfast and I ordered the ribeye breakfast. Both very well cooked and tasty. The price is outstanding. The waitress an elderly lady was slow but accurate and friendly. Here is our issue you walk on the floor and you literally stick to the 100 year old carpet. It is that dirty and gross. The awning over the cashier is so thick with dust someone wrote on the dust and it was never cleaned. They are in NEED of a Makeover like no ones business. I hope they at least clean the floors and awnings. I don't want to think about what is going on behind the scenes. Give them a try and see for your self.”

Ruang Thong was very underrated, I tried other Thai food that are much popular even drove to West End but I did not get the authentic flavor I had in Ruang Thong. The staff was very nice and they will make you feel they love you being there in their restaurant.
