“I went for a late lunch (3pm) this past Saturday with my little daughter and was pleasantly pleased with my visit. I believe this is a fast casual restaurant but the food and service was restaurant quality. This is so rare in the Hampton area so I had to write a review about my experience. There was a decent amount of people when I walked in so I expected to wait but the line moved quickly and we received our food without a long wait. Our food was fresh and hot which I wasn't expecting either since we received it fairly quickly after placing our order. The staff was super friendly and pleasant. They made sure everything was ok after receiving our food and even came by to ask if we wanted a box for our leftover food. I hope the owner reads this and knows that the people working around 3pm this past Saturday are doing an excellent job. I've had bad experiences in this area and wasn't really a fan of other Smashburgers I've visited. However, this place; I am now a fan and will be back. Only feedback I have is the floors are super slippery. I almost fell a few times and noticed other customers almost did as well so that's an accident waiting to happen but not enough to take away a star. Well done, Hampton Smashburger!”

This veteran run/owned business is a great place for everyone. The food is fantastic and the portions too. We walked in on a very, I mean very busy day (Veteran's Day). They were giving out a free sandwich to every member of the military (active and veteran). Even though the line was all the way out the door and reached the parking lot. My husband and I waited less than 7 minutes from the time we got to the line to the time we received our sandwiches. I was very impressed. Even with it being that busy the quality of service and food did not suffer for it. We have visited this establishment many times and will return for many more wonderful plates and you can also grab a beer here 😉 Well worth the (tiny) wait you could find anytime. Try it. You won't be disappointed.”

“There aren’t enough good things to say about Pizza Plus! We recently moved to the area and this place has become our favorite pizza spot very quickly. There’s a family special that’s a one topping pizza, garlic knots and wings and it feeds our family of four with leftovers! The salads are all fantastic and I highly recommend each of them. The food here reminds me so much of my visits with family in upstate NY, all the cold cuts in the salads and the cannolis.. brings me back to a memory I thoroughly enjoy. “*EDIT We went back. I'll say our second experience was nothing like the first. Incredible service, great food, exaclty what I expected the first time. I genuinely had high hopes for this place. The food was just okay, for the amount of money we spent. Now the service is what ruined it for me. Our waiter was incredibly nice but this was not 4 or even 3 star service. He did not know what type of whisky was in half the drinks, forgot I had asked him for the check and the only time he came to check on us was when I had to flag him down, multiple times. **The kitchen manager was wonderful, they were out of lobster Mac but she went back in the kitchen and made some for us special and we agreed it was the best thing on the table** At the end of dinner the busboy took my food without asking if I needed a box and almost threw out my $30 crab cake, he actually managed to take my truffle fries and left before I could let him know I wanted to take them home. Then I had to ask for boxes without being offered them, they brought 3 boxes with two lids, so I had to ask for a lid. Then I realized they didn't give us a bag either so I had to ask for that as well. For a close to $300 tab I would go anywhere else.”

The food was excellent...however, this place was about 95% filled with "regulars", individuals who reside in the housing development associated with the Country Club. Three couples were using the restaurant as a "playground" for their 5 to 7year old children, allowing them to run around unattended while they were sipping their cocktails oblivious to the situation. The websites menu selection had not been updated to match the current selection on the paper menus. None of the entrées were the same however the filets were prepared to order perfectly along the two sides as well. The wine and mixed drinks were above average also. We gave the restaurant an overall rating of 4 stars as the food was excellent. It's about a 1 star for the atmosphere and the management not having control of the patrons children running around aimlessly.”
