“I write this review in hopes the owner sees it, and understands my reasoning. I visited the restaurant with my husband and friends on 3/5. The website advertised opening at 12. People arrived and lined up for it to open at 3pm, in the cold. After being seated we ordered appetizers, drinks. The drinks arrived in toddler cups, with 3/4 ice. Then we ordered our entrees. Our food arrived 46mins after we ordered, along with the entrees. Every dish was like warm. The triple threat did not appear to be whiting as explained, and didn't come with the fries as advertised. Waitress next came back to check on service or quality. When the bill was paid, there where no amounts next to the items. The cashier /waitress. Had to keep asking for the price of each meal. So, if you didn't calculate what you ordered, on your own. You could have been overcharged. Upon leaving, asked to change a 20, to leave a reasonable tip. They did not have $10s, 5s or singles????? Their was no one to share this with (staff wise). So, I'll leave it here to assist in progress. I will try it again, in a month or two. Hoping this review will aid in improvements. If it continues this way. This location won't last in City Island past 2022.”

“Great food! Great atmosphere! Fries are very very salty that come with the meals but we were told they soak them in sea salt so if you're not big on salt, make sure and order the classic crinkle fries which they offered to us and are very good as well. Overall, great place to eat. The bar doesn't make specialty drinks nor do they have a drink menu but 5 stars still!”

“So we decided to stop to eat while on a road trip. This was my first time at this IHOP. The food with exactly as we ordered however what really made this an awesome meal was our waitress. She was friendly and enjoyed the interaction. This woman really knows her job and earned every bit of her tip. The only detractor is this is the first time I went to an IHOP that wasn't open 24 hours and since we were getting their kind of late we were trying to hurry so that they could close up and go home on time and while I know that's not their fault it is the only fault that I had at all. I would definitely stop there again”

“Came here for brunch with my fiance - we love this place!! The atmosphere is super nice - a very chill and pleasant environment. The food is super yummy with options for everyone. Prices are reasonable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The coffee is also good and not bitter. We will likely come back again, 10/10! Love this place now and a true testament of hood vs bad employee and revenue. 18Jan22, I decided to give them a second chance On 18 Jan 2022 they tried to use a fake credit card they cloned from my card for $11.53. Thank goodness they can’t even get that right. I tried calling the store no answers. sometime in 2021 RUUUUUDE!!!! I waited outside the ordering speaker for 10 minutes! Around 5 minutes I said good morning hello and the guy said WAIT! Finally he came in the speaker and said what are you ordering and I said good morning how are and he said, I asked what you are ordering. I was taken back by his rudeness and then asked the worker if they had skinny vanilla lattes and he said you’ll have to get something else we ain’t Starbucks. I asked to speak to his manager and he said I am the manager. I said what is your name and he said Shawn and closed the windows. I can’t believe how rude this guy was. He was a skinny black guy that tried to sound like a girl.”
