“Covenant Christian School is like no other school I have heard of or been a part of. The learning environment is one that is unhurried, full, and fruitful. Children have tea time, garden time, art, music, and nature study. The small class sizes allow for individual attention allowing those that excel to be challenged and extra help is given to those that need it. My children leave school each day with smiles and when I ask “how was your day” the answer is always “awesome!” Children are truly loved and cared for at CCS. They are included and cherished as individuals. The teachers are excellent as well. Each teacher excels in allowing children to learn and they cultivate the love of learning in each child. The teachers are accessible, as is Mrs Schulker, the head of school. Additionally, the atmosphere created at CCS is one that allows for a peaceful and calm learning environment. The classrooms looks like living rooms and the children sit around large tables. They are encouraged to interact with one another and be a family, caring and learning together. It is a wonderful school!”

“The weight room is the best part about this school! It's old school type, with 8 squat racks on one side and dumbbells on the other plus weight plates, kettle bells, and other basic equipment. The personal fitness teacher, Mr. Campbell, is very smart intellectually and very strong physically. Most of the teachers are very helpful and you could go for help after school and they'll be happy to help you. I'm gonna miss this school a lot.”

“Very convenient for riding lessons. Nice people and instructor/manager i(Meredith) is great. With what it cost, I would like to see the grounds kept up more (no seats for spectators and barn could you some TLC).”

“I highly recommend this preschool program! Both of my children have attended. They are so sweet to all of the kids. It is a safe and loving environment. I always feel like they are in such good hands when I leave them. My son started kindergarten this year and was very well prepared both socially and academically from the time he spent at Derbyshire :)”

“My Martin 000CXE acoustic needed some attention recently, so I drove from Richmond to take to Mike Larkin. I’ve had the guitar for about 11 years and it’s been with me to 15 or so countries. I previously lived in Nashville and have had some pretty great luthiers work in the past. I play the guitar a lot and it needed some work. Mike gave it a new custom nut, a fret job, setup, and general maintenance for a very affordable price! The guitar not only plays as good or better than it ever has, it also actually sounds better! Good instruments are worth investing in and Mike is someone who can restore the former glory of your guitar, or perhaps even make it sound better than ever. I would be happy to bring my other instruments to Mike as the need arises. Thanks Mike!”

“My tennis coach, Hayden Victor, comes to my court at a time that's convenient for me. He is always on time and prepared. He has a game plan for what I want to work on, and even more astounding, he actually follows up on how my matches went. He genuinely cares. Highly recommend Hayden personally and PlayYourCourt in general.”

“Norma watched my son for almost two months while we were in a transition period. He was only three months at the time and it was hard to leave him and go to work. Norma and her staff did a great job with him. They kept me informed with how the day went with him - talking with me at pick up and also providing a daily report. They also got him sleeping on a good nap routine and good feeding schedule. Norma does a great job keep germs to a minimum there. Tyler never got sick while he was there. Finally, they did a good job with listening to me. They listened to my concerns and respected my decisions as his mom. I highly recommend Okla Kids.”

“Ms.A was my son’s speech teacher. We owe his progress to her. He was non-verbal before she walked into our lives with a lot of “mmmmmmm” days as we called it. She is amazing! Thorough, caring, skilled at her work and such a wonderful gift. So lucky we used CDR and I understand the struggle with saying he’s a boy and they all talk late and that whole argument. Believe me. Early intervention is a must. She is not afraid to be connected with her kids and often offers advice when she sees us struggling with tantrums(not in a judgy unsolicited way). In the most kind, educated, and experienced way. Anyway, just thinking about Ms.A and all the help she has done for my family and how she has steered us always forward even the days that may be tough. She even taught us things about how my son is trying to get “organized” or “self soothe” and tips to help him. And giving him this time helps him come around to speech in the games and activities we play.”

“This is the best school I have ever attended!!! I was a student here from 2006-2008 and let me just say that it was the greatest school experience you could ask for! Another thing is that, at the time, I was an undiagnosed autistic and they tried their best to figure out what was wrong with me, which was a great help. I would like to give HUGE thanks to Mrs. Dawn and Ms. Tracy for giving me the best jumpstart and experience that i could have!”
