I chose this church because my niece was not attending her church in Lynnhaven and asked me NOT to go because she wouldn't be there (weird), but I searched for a church near my daughter's apartment. Viewed the website, the photos looked like the kind of worship experience that I enjoy in Chicago. I attended the 11:15am service and OMG! I am so glad that I did...I came back for the 6:30pm service and brought my daughter. She was blown away by the "genuine worship", great music and the powerful word of God. Whenever, I am in VA, I will be here. My daughter also said that she will be attending as often as her work schedule permits. Thank you Peninsula Pentecostals! “Gus’s Hot Dog King was a recommended place from friends. Very popular locally so I went to see why for myself. My family of four ate for right around $30 and everyone liked the food. The kids are picky eaters so that’s saying something. I loved the onion rings and would order the chili dog again. The people working there were really nice. There is inside seating. Inside was full, but that’s another good sign you chose the right place. There’s outside seating. It’s right off of Jefferson so noise from the traffic may deter you from eating outside.”

“Solid gas station experience. The people that work the registers are talented and friendly. They are usually short staffed but they’ve made every effort to not let that affect them. Gas prices tend to be on par with out in town or a couple cents cheaper. Liquor is provided at the package store so there should be no negatives put on them since that’s a Virginia/the south thing.”
