“My 91 year old father-in-law was admitted to the Burke Health and Rehabilitation Center in the last week of January 2023. This was his fourth time staying at this Center. We saw a few nurses that took care of him in the past and they were very happy to see and talked to us, so we immediately felt comfortable. The Administrator, Terrence Kee, was very hospitable, pleasant, and made sure my father-in-law had everything that he needed. Additionally, since we have a large family that came and visited him, he made sure to provide us with additional chairs in the room. The nursing staff here was periodically checking in my father-in-law’s room and were attentive to his needs. He was never neglected and if he needed anything, he would get it in a timely manner. The nurses and nurse practitioners are knowledgeable, friendly, and took very good care of my father-in-law. The Center is situated in a very nice area surrounded with many trees and has plenty of parking spaces, so we did not have to drive around to look for one. Overall, our family was very pleased with Terrence, the nursing and administrative staff at the Burke Health and Rehabilitation Center. We thank them for their loving care and for making my him feel at home.”

“Super grateful for this place! Long story short, I woke up one morning and could feel something in my eye (turns out it was a tiny piece of metal--wear your safety glasses, people!). By the next morning, my eye was so inflamed that I couldn't keep it open without being in excruciating pain. I called Enochs, who referred me here and got me seen within an hour of calling. When I got to Schneider, the PA I worked with was absolutely fantastic. (I'm not sure what her exact title is, and I unfortunately don't remember her name, but she had blondish-brown hair and glasses.) She was calm and kind, but also matter-of-fact and efficient, which I really appreciated and respected. Dr. Sajko was incredibly reassuring, as well. Before I left, he looked me in my good eye and said, "It will get better" (emphasis on the "will"). I was so worried when I came in, so the two of validating my pain while also giving me hope that it would be short-lived was exactly what I needed. I followed their treatment recommendations, and a couple of days later, my eye was back to normal. I can't recommend this practice enough!”

“Working with my realtor, Jon Hineline, was amazing! I'm in Wisconsin, and buying long distance means extra effort on the realtors part. Jon was definitely there for everything I needed. He was like an extension of family there for me. I definitely felt confident, having met him during the Thanksgiving holiday and spending four days looking at 20 houses! Virginia has its differences from Wisconsin when it comes to houses- like no garages or basements that come automatically with a house! And so many trees or lack of real grass in areas; so I had a hard time finding the right compromise. Jon was patient and kind. Perfect match for me! “My family and I decided to have dinner here after googling and learning they have 4.6 stars. We definitely see why. On Sunday closing is at 8pm, we walked in around 7:05pm. At 7:50pm we have eaten our dinner and dessert! The food was amazing! Customer service was great! Tessa is amazing! We are gonna come back for breakfast tomorrow! *UPDATE* Well we made it back for breakfast and we had the same wonderful experience! We had Tessa again!”

“I had my car towed here last week. I don't know anything about cars and could have easily been taken advantage of. When the mechanic looked at my car, he called me to let me know the transmission was shot and it was covered by the warranty and I should have it towed to the dealership. He didn't charge me anything for his time!! I insisted on paying him something, but he declined payment. I am blown away by the integrity of this facility!!!”

“Good food, good service, good vibes. I went for the first time with a women's group from church after we walked alongside the beach, we worked up an appetite and it did not disappoint. Get the lavender vanilla latte!!! Trust me you will be back from more. I also got the egg, cheese and sausage croissant as it came highly recommended and it was spot on. Price was reasonable for the area (~$15 per person with tip). The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. They treat you like family but also professional. I appreciate that there was seating both inside and outside. I'm already planning my trip back!!!”
