“Miss Pam at the front desk overnight was wonderful. My boyfriend and I talked to her for a long time. She felt like an old friend and made our stay great. The beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Little disappointed the light up makeup mirror wasn’t working in our bathroom but nothing that would prevent us from returning. We will be back to visit our new friend, Miss Pam.”

“Love coming to this location, especially when Ms. Tina is the manager. I'm a college student and on a fixed income and money is tight. Ms. Tina always makes me aware of any deals or promotions going on or if there's any coupons available on menu items. That makes me feel like she really cares about the needs of her customers. She always makes sure my food is hot and super fresh with the most genuine kindness and courtesy in customer service. If you're ever in Suffolk and feel like chicken. Please go to the neighborhood Bojangles, ask for Tina. She'll make sure you're taken care of.”

“Dr. Hopson is great. I've been to other orthopedic doctors and had other MRIs over the last 3-4 years, however none of my previous doctors caught that I previously broke my ankle years ago. Something I was completely unaware of during my first visit with Dr. Hopson. After we made the decision to have surgery, questions flooded my brain. He saw me again just to answer questions and was not annoyed by my list. My follow up visit brief with Dr. Hopson. However all the seemingly simple everyday questions I had was answered by his wonderful staff. Any paperwork was done by a 3rd party in a timely manner for my job. There is a fee for the paperwork but it was minimal and very well done. I am very pleased with Dr. Hopson and this practice.”

“This is not the fault of the Hampton PD but today’s backup (13 Jun 2022) through the entire downtown of Hampton due to an afternoon crash in the tunnel (and follow on crash in Norfolk) was the worst I have ever seen. The police could help by strict enforcement of not blocking intersections, not running red lights, and not cutting around the barrier in which people who follow the law line up to enter I-64 East. There are several places people jump the line for I-64 and, at this point, about 25% of the people entering 64 jump the line. The most obvious place is cutting across to the on ramp from the left lane on Settler’s Landing Road (beyond the barrier). Today I sat about 20 cars back and watched as our lane did not move through five light cycles as a timid driver in a white car let people to the left speed in front of him every time the light turned green. He may have been disabled, but God bless him, he let five cycles go by before he moved across from the front of the line. Granted, every time the light turned green, at least one car ran the red light from the other direction, too. It was like we were *never going to move ahead! Then, even when we entered the on-ramp, people came to the alternate entry (for those coming up Settler’s Landing the other way) and blocked it by turning *right into it because they missed the on-ramp by being in the left lane, beyond the barrier. I know the city is considering shutting down that on-ramp to local traffic but I believe you should first try enforcing the law as it is. Today, the intersection at the on-ramp was full of red light runners and people blocking the intersection for more than one light cycle. A few tickets should get the word out that we need to actually use the barrier lane the way it was intended and obey all the other traffic laws, too.”

“What an extraordinary place. Wayne, Mac, and Carl constitute a gracious and proficient team that represents the standard in the realm of pro-veteran work. I got to spend time with them as I was doing my rounds of dropping off some donations from our HOOAH ventures. And it's clear that their facility isn't just a facility; it's truly a home. The veterans who stay there are blessed to be allowed to heal and refresh in such an ecosystem. You know, plenty of folks level critiques that the overall system sometimes treats vets like a number. But not here. Hats off to this place, and its team. You do important work.”
