“Dr. Nguyen is amazing and she has an awesome team! Everything from reception, to testing to surgery and post op, went smoothly. Thank you! Long Version: I had worn glasses and contacts for probably almost 20 years. I went in for lasik before leaving the country to travel so that I could avoid carrying a year's worth of daily contacts. Little did I know this would really be life changing. Dr. Nguyen and her team are very knowledgeable and approachable. For something that can be very scary to some, they make you feel at ease with the process. In fact, one of the ladies had baked cookies and brought them in for surgery day - nice homey touch! Dr. Nguyen offers good pricing options, as well as, a lifetime option (if I recall correctly after 6 months) which I opted for in case in my older age I ever need a 'touch up'. It's been 6 months since I went in for lasik and I have to say its freaking amazing to wake up and see without reaching for glasses or waiting to get up to put contacts in. Snorkeling without worrying about water and my contacts has been awesome. And just overall being able to see as far as the horizon, clearly, has made my travels even more memorable. I definitely would recommend Dr. Nguyen for anyone looking for lasik in the NOVA area!”

“Typical Walmart garden center. Smaller and less variety than the bigger Supercenters but overall a good selection and friendly assistance if needed.”

“Calvary has become my family. Pastor Tom and his wife have been there for me and my family in some of the worst moments of our lives. The church is a true family that has stepped up in our time of need! I'm blessed to call CCW my church ! We thank God for leading us to this church!”

“My experience with Ashley, Artizmylov, was literally the best tattoo experience I have ever had. From the collaborative process of ideation to the actual sessions to create and complete my sleeve was an amazing experience. Ashley is absolutely brilliant. Her ability to translate her deep knowledge of art, the medium of tattooing and her commitment to learning as much as possible about the craft made me feel immediately at ease. Ashley embodies such a high degree of professionalism and a great personality. I have definitely had tattoo experiences in which I did not click with the artist. Ashley has an easeful disposition while still maintaining hours of intense focus. If you have done the due diligence of researching outstanding artists, then you would have come across Artizmylov. If you are looking to adorn your body with ART, not just some bangers (no shade), then Artizmylov should be in your top considerations. 10 out 10”

“My experience with reserve a ride has been great. The first day they arrived on time but another rider was scheduled for pick-up and I arrived at my orientation almost fifteen minutes late. That taught me to schedule further pick-ups early allowing me time to arrive earlier than late. The drivers are friendly. And most the time I travel alone to my destination. I highly recommend. The day before pick-up they always call with a friendly reminder of what time they will arrive.”

“I am a little confused. When I filled out a form online someone that I assumed was a Pastor called me within the hour. I was told that when I came to church 2 women would greet me but I was late and thought service was at 10:30. When I came to church today no one seemed to recall talking with me. Is there another Assemblyof God church in Yorktown? Maybe I went to the wrong church? Anyhow several people spoke to me but I felt of lost and really don't know who is who.”

“We were very impressed and pleased with our office visit with Dr. Yi. Our drive from Gaithersburg, Md took us approximately 50 minutes ( without any traffic). After meeting Dr. Yi, we would have driven 2 hrs for this appointment. Dr. Yi is truly amazing, very meticulous and answered all the questions we had concerning our well being. Dr. Yi is very thorough and has great amount of patience explaining all the details of our physical check up. Dr. Yi’s follow-up with our blood work was very professional. He explained the test results and areas of concern, and also made very helpful recommendations. His mannerisms is calm and gentle, which we found very comforting. We know we will be good care with Dr. Yi… finally found a Dr we feel comfortable in his presence, and trust. Thank you, Dr. Yi! We appreciate you, and are very thankful. 🤗”

“He is one of the doctors who is thinking outside the box and has a conscience and morality. I have been here in the US for more than 12 years. You either see a shaky doctor who is scared to give you the medicine or a doctor without merciful who gives you medication to make you feel well, but the side effect later will destroy something in your body. I highly recommend him.”

“This is an excellent place to bring home schooled children to learn music, art, drama, and other classes. The school is well established (30 years old). There is a study hall for when children need to hang out in between classes. There are opportunities for a tuition discount if parents want to sign up to be hall monitors.”

“Nice selection and the people who work there are very knowledgeable, which is a great combination if you're not sure what to buy or have questions. Decent selection of cameras and lenses for Canon, Nikon, Fugi and Sony. They also sell used cameras (including film camers) and lenses and can develop film. Good selection accessories for amateur and professional photographers too. If you are looking for a camera bag don't shop on line - they have 2 rooms of all kinds of bags to check out.”

“We’ve used them plenty of times in the past and almost everything has been great. Last summer we got a thermostat on our cooler replaced and a year later they charged us for another one on the same exact cooler because it was doing the same exact thing that they supposedly fixed. Then recently I’ve called twice and my husband has called once and each time they say someone will be right out and nobody comes. We have a store with chocolate in it and it’s very important it doesn’t get super hot. When I called this last time the man said “if the A/C wasn’t working it would be 100 degrees in there.” Well, it’s 90 degrees and still nobody has come. Edit: they came and fixed the cooler”

“My children attend this school. There's no denying that Dutrow had earned quite a negative reputation by around five years ago. I was very hesitant about sending my eldest here, but the school she was zoned for was an absolute nightmare. What you truly can't deny is that there is a serious issue in NN schools where some schools are absolute h&!!holes while a few are extraordinary... which are nearly impossible to get into with the magnet program. Deer Park and Hilton have something like 3% of magnet applicants accepted. The open grade "pod" setting isn't for every child, and it can be difficult for some children to adjust to. Other kids seem to do very well here. However, the staff and teachers have been extraordinary. There are going to be issues in school like bullying... there's no avoiding it. However, the extent to which the administration and teachers are involved is honestly the most extensive I've ever seen in any school, including the ones I went to! Dutrow has spent the past few years implementing and trying out new educational and involvement strategies. It's definitely noisier, especially since the kids are often moving, like for lessons, projects, or experiments outside. There is concern about making sure kids are prepared for standardized testing, because there has to be. This is any school in the country, whether they use the terms or not. But the teachers have more support than I've ever seen (I will not pretend to claim to have inside knowledge of this, and I'm sure there are flaws, but I have personally seen some horror stories). The administration is communicative and works to resolve issues quickly. My kids have gotten in trouble before, usually for talking or goofing off, which I have been made aware of. They have consequences, but have never been made to feel like they're "bad" or disliked. On the contrary, teachers and support staff have made extra effort to point out when kids are doing well or behaving, especially those who have more difficulty doing so. That's not to say that they don't take problems seriously... if you misbehave frequently, it will not be ignored. My child has had a few issues with other kids, and they were dealt with within hours and disciplinary procedures resulted. However, what truly impressed me was the fact that with any problem, they took the extra effort to discuss it with the kids who were around but not involved, and they try to reconcile the kids who are involved. I won't pretend it's perfect, but show me a school that is. Every kid is different and needs something different, and this school tries to work with that. Honestly, the best way I can describe the expressions on the faces of the staff is as wearing "exhausted smiles." Some days, the smiles might be more of a grimace, but I have yet to meet someone there who truly doesn't seem like they love these children, every single one. I've seen teachers at other schools talk about my child like their own and then look at a "troublemaker" like they would look at poop on their shoe, and talk to them worse. Once , I saw a kid behave in ways that made my ovaries shrivel up and die. The teacher and an administrator were both in control of the situation and handled it well. But I noticed some weeks later, the same administrator making sure to say hello and wave to the same student, and the teacher praising them for something. You couldn't tell that this was a kid capable of that kind of behavior. How do I see all this? Well, a potential downfall for some parents is that as an exclusively magnet school, parent participation and volunteer hours are required. Also, parents are welcome to come visit, and encouraged to join their children for lunch, special activities, etc. While the requirements are low, you often find yourself joining them more often than you'd expect. I truly have loved this school for my kids.”

“This place is amazing. Due to the fire I'm having to go to the one by Dollar Tree and am reminded why I really like the laundry place. Their machines are clean as well as the building the staff is so friendly. When I have to go to the other place it's dirty never has change and the dryers start on hot heat then switch to remove wrinkles I literally dried clothes today for over an hour and brought them home pretty wet. I never have that problem at The Laundry Place. PLEASE PLEASE OPEN BACK UP SOON.”
