“Coming from San Antonio, TX, you expect a good Mexican restaurant. This restaurant does a really nice job of meeting those expectations. The chips that were served were really good and authentic, but I think the salsa could use quite a bit more kick. It tasted more like Pace from the grocery store, but that seems to be typical in this area. My meal was very delicious and the atmosphere felt like my typical visits to Mexican restaurants.”

“Nothing but good things to say about this clinic! Staff was all very friendly and helpful! Last night my dog broke his toenail at the base. First thing this morning i started calling vet clinics. They all told me they couldn’t see him for over a month. I called Nansemond and they were able to fit us in right away. The visit was faster than most scheduled appointments at other clinics and they were very attentive and helpful. Pricing was reasonable as well. We have found our new primary veterinarian!”

“Set in the battlegrounds of one of the last civil war encounters, hiking Five Forks provides great exercise under towering pines. Using All Trails app is helpful near the end as the trail tends to be overgrown & less defined. Otherwise, follow the yellow blaze trail (always choose left) which circumnavigates the park. The trail basically offers a smooth, pine needle floor amidst beautiful, surroundings pine trees. It's an easy, hike made challenging by the 6.5+ miles duration. It's definitely worth the long drive from RVA to the Dinwiddle area. Visitors Center & parking area is permanently closed. You can park a little beyond the entrance & walk back to the TH just left of the Center.”

“Have always loved this campground and still do even though no longer a KOA. Staff great, but needs training on the store side. Totally messed up my bill when I arrived. Later in our stay my husband went to get 1 bundle of fire wood and was charged for 4. On a high note, Ray was totally wonderful, helpful, and friendly!!”
