“Why do you hire a lawyer? To get a favorable outcome on your day in court. This is what Brian and his team at Dunnigan Law delivered for me. When I took my case to them, Brian listened to the story of what happened (reckless driving charge and fail to stop at a stop sign charge) and then gave sound advice before even discussing his fee. Having spoken to other attorneys who went right to a sales pitch about "why them" and their fee structure, this personal touch caused me to hire Brian on the spot (his fee is reasonable too, by the way). He and his team then advised what steps I should take before my court date to give us the best chance of a win on the day. While there was a moment I wish Brian himself had communicated a bit better with me about the process on the day, it turned out to be fairly straight forward so I have decided not to bump this review down to 4 stars based on that one blemish... After all, why do you hire a lawyer? To get a the best outcome in court, and this is what Brian delivered. My reckless charge was reduced to a mere speeding fine, and the fail to stop charge dismissed. All in all, I recommend Brian and his team to anyone who needs a lawyer. “Cobb’s Marina is run by people that will go out of their way to help you! We have been using Cobbs for decades. I can’t say enough about how amazing they are to work with. I have never had anything happen when working with them that left a bad taste in my mouth. They will bend over backwards to help. On a Sunday afternoon at closing, I ran up to get a bag of ice. We had an unexpected issue going on with a rudder installation on our sailboat that’s been on the hard there for 7 months. Mike Cobb happened to be standing out front. He asked what was going on. He knew our situation. We were slung and getting ready to splash the following morning. Mike asked if he should come over to help, I responded, “please”!!! He was about to take his son fishing, instead he walked over to our boat, assessed our current situation, went back to his shop, fabricated a tool that might help our predicament, came back and proceeds help us with our issue. It was now 430 on a HOT Sunday. 30 minutes past when he and his boy should have been on their way to some fishing hole. They are all amazing. This is one of the few remaining, family owned boat yard/marinas left in the area. We always have and always will haul out there. Thank you Cobbs!!!”
