I went to my previous dentist for 5-years complaining of a toothache. I finally switched to NORTHWEST SMILE DESIGNS and began seeing DR. DAVID K. CHAN. He immediately diagnosed a crack in the tooth under a crown and an accompanying infection, this was confirmed by x-rays. The infection had spread to my jaw resulting in the extraction of the tooth and bone grafting of my jaw. Dr. Chan suggested braces because if I didn't adjust my bite, a new crown would fail again. A post is now in place and as soon as my teeth settle the implant will be placed on the post.
My point here is not the treatment plan but the fact that Dr. Chan and his staff does it ALL. From dental surgery to routine cleaning and fillings to orthodontia ... ALL services were performed by Dr. Chan and his premier-class staff.
Assistants Patty and Kathy are professional and respectful, giving each patient the time to ask any questions and providing easy-to-understand answers and instructions.
Hygienist Chris is gentle and considerate making sure you have the proper cleaning while being aware of each patient's level of anxiety and comfort.
I have dental insurance and I am double-covered by my spouses insurance. Linda, in the front office, was in communication with both providers providing coordination of benefits and arranging treatment times in order to maximize my benefits.
The office is clean, comfortable and all staff is knowledgeable about the most current Covid protocols assuring each visitor is protected while keeping themselves protected in the process.
In short, you can't do better than NORTHWEST SMILE DESIGNS, DR. DAVID K. CHAN and his magnificent staff whether it is simple, routine treatment or more extensive dental surgery. Comfort, care, dignity and pursuit of perfection is ALWAYS the base of any treatment!
Excellent experience. My family has been going to Dr Chan for over 15 years and we all had quality dental care. I had headaches and I felt my teeth only touched in a couple of places. I was told I just allergies and I need a night guard. Dr Chan told me constricted and that I would need orthodontist again.Straight aligned teeth are beautiful but not always functional.After braces again my bite is better and I hardly ever have a headache. Dr Chan and Staff your the best .
