  I've been coming to Vega's since it started. I have always had wonderful experiences. Student Jake is my "go-to guy" and he is great. Bertha, the owner, is very friendly and knowledgeable and I've noticed she takes the initiative to work individually with the students and gives them hints and helpful suggestions about how to do specific applications they've been taught in their classes, as well as new things not taught in the group lectures. The students all seem to like her.
  
  There are other teachers there as well who are also great with the students. Christian is one of the teachers and when I've been there I've noticed he spends considerable one-on-one time with the students after they've had group lectures. He is very calm and positive in his approach with the students.
  
  As a former educator, I feel by having my hair done at Vega's Academy I'm doing my part to support on-going education for the students who have elected to work in hair design. They also have a barber school and nail school located in the same building. Give the school a try and support education and the students who are trying to better their lives after high school.

  Christian, the professional instructor and Alejandra, the cosmetology student were amazing... from the moment I sat on the beauty chair, to the moment I was all dolled up .. I was a HAPPY CUSTOMER...
  not to mention, EVERYONE was soo friendly ????

  Mary Jane was amazing. After me messing up my hair, and going to to her she made it look fantastic. The staff is friendly. The building is clean and professional. Thank you again Mary Jane and everyone who helped with consults on my damaged hair. I went in thinking i wouldcome out with an inch of hair. Now i have a stylish bob.

  I have been a part time student since February 2018. I have been there through the transfer of ownership of the school. I have to say it has been a very pleasant experience. The hours are great because I can come when I can and still work my full time job! The instructors Yolanda and Christian are fantastic and passionate about what they do. They both are hairstylists and love to share their tips and tricks with us.
  
  Berta the owner is a fun spirited individual. She takes the time to make sure every student feels like they belong. She has an energy that brings pure joy into the school! I love that I can bring my family and friends in to perform hair services on them. Anything from haircuts, highlights, full color, keratine treatments, etc. I have enjoyed exploring my creative side!
