Cascades Presbyterian Church

I haven't visited many churches, but I've been to quite a few church activities and Christian evangelistic programs, and a visit to this church's service proved them to be one of the most welcoming experiences I've ever had at a new place. It was not just an act. The people their are genuinely friendly, brotherly, and excited by the Spirit of God. I go to a church that is known for being friendly, but this one still stands out for its outreach; what a great witness!

This church is a warm and welcoming place where the congregation truly steps up to help others within their church family, as well as those in the general community. Pastor Chris is very kind, and definitely sets a positive vibe. They alternate between a choir (they have hymnals available and that is always a good thing!), and a 'worship team', at least in the service I attended. This is a church that would be good for anyone, especially families. (Disclaimer: I am familiar with Cascade Pres because the Junior Symphony of Vancouver is in residence there. Pastor Chris always gives a few words of introduction at those concerts, and we were all impressed with him and so that is why I wanted to attend some services when my schedule allowed.)
