  This is a nice park with walking trails and recreation areas. Even on a rainy November day we enjoyed our visit.

  Big and open, swimming and fishing.

  Saw a kid poop in the water, fished it out and used it for bait

  Really nice place for kids. Water is crystal clear. Daily parking $3, great deal. Pets are not allowed at the park past the bridge point but noticed some people did have. Will definitely come back on a hot day.

  Really cool park. Kind of a hidden gem. The swimming areas are roped off according to depth and there are plenty of areas to spread out so you can maintain social distancing. Lots of shade or you can bring a pop-up canopy. You can also bring your BBQ or use one of the ones they have there. History tells me to bring my own.
  Oh yeah, they also have lifeguards on duty during the day and evening.
  It's actually a pretty nice park.
