I have been seeing Avery for nearly a year and it is refreshing to have someone who is not treating you as a cookie cutter process or trying to sink you into seeing them monthly for something you have been diagnosed with years ago. Finally, a break from the red tape and someone that is interested in making sure my mental health needs are being met.

Avery is, hands down, the best medical provider in charge of my psychiatric medication with whom I have ever worked. I came to her shortly after relocating to the area and searching desperately for a psychiatrist to no avail. She got me in very quickly and I never looked back. She is as straightforward as she is compassionate and I trust her to manage my medication in a way that is best for me - and I'm not a particularly trusting person in a general sense. I feel she regards me as a human and not a science experiment or check to cash like so many providers unfortunately do to their psych patients.

Go to see her knowing that she will be very honest with you about your current state and next steps. Avery definitely sees through the BS and works past it to help get you healthy again - she is the furthest thing from an enabler, which is extremely key in her line of work (in my opinion). Keep in mind that she is not a therapist, but she is an excellent resource for referrals if necessary. Avery is extremely intelligent and she has seen basically everything there is to see in the world of psychiatry so you are dealing with a highly-experienced professional when you go to see her.

I would strongly encourage you to look past the negative reviews which, if I had to hazard a guess, are most likely from individuals who either missed an appointment and had to pay for it or were denied some form of narcotic (again, NOT an enabler).

I (in addition to many others!) am so fortunate to have Avery looking after my brain chemistry. I TRUST her. That's so rare in this area of the medical profession. Please do yourself a favor and reach out to her. She will help you get back on the right track to full mental functionality.

    THANK YOU, AVERY!

WONDERFUL is an understatement. I love going to see Ms. Kennedy. We have a lot of the same interests in art and our love for dogs. She is a great provider. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in January of 2015. I moved from out of state and she was the very first provider that I saw and I loved her from the beginning. I was a bit worried when I moved here that I would not be able to find as great of a psychiatrist as I had a North Dakota but I was wrong she is amazing and I would recommend her to anybody. I struggle with bipolar disorder and she has helped me through a few different medications to find the right fit for me. She is a very intelligent, wonderful and all around great person and psychiatrist. I know when you go to see her that you will love her just as much as I do.
